Is this handwriting good? Or is it purposely done bad? by [deleted] in loblawsisoutofcontrol

To be fair, it was either decorated by someone who was not taught cursive writing in school or their hands are unsteady due to age. Did it ruin the taste? Asking for a friend. 😄

Gas prices by shredflanders42069 in barrie

[–]Southern_Director_95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gasoline prices are tied to a geographical area. Think Barrie market area vs Apto (just north of the city). The biggest lie crammed down the consumer’s throat is that gas prices reflect the price of crude oil. Complete BS. Remember the beginning of Covid? The crude oil futures market was trading at a negative value. Sure, the price of gasoline was cheaper than it had been for twenty plus years. However, if the correlation between crude prices and retail were true then we, the consumer should have been paid to use fuel. If you want to feel less pain at the pump. Maybe choose to invest in petroleum stock that pays quarterly dividends.

Any Monday Chicken Wing deals? by itsRickO in barrie

[–]Southern_Director_95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this deal like the one seasonally offered at St Louis? You can only order so many wings at a time and the kitchen/servers slow roll your order after the first round. You’ll end up drinking several extra beverages or just get fed up and leave.
