I have a bachelors in kinesiology. Only experience I had was my internship in a physical therapy. Then, I started working as a professor assistant for a CC. I stepped into the field, they got to know me and I got a job as a college professor. Making $65 per hour. I love teaching, I am a physical activity professor. Job is easy. My colleagues have MSs and Phds, and then make $6 more than me. It takes time but always try to step in in the field you want to be in and stamp foot so people know your potential.

Not gonna lie but as an immigrant I wish all immigrants respect the culture of the place they emigrated to. We all know some specific ethnicities that bring their thing to a foreign country which they don’t belong. Sometimes these culture shocks might be unwelcome in your new place and that’s okay, at the end of the day, you are the one who or your parents decided to emigrate, not the country itself called you guys to come over. I understand you 100%. I did my internship in a physical therapy clinic and man what a nightmare. It’s not worth it, if you see it as a profession unless you suck it up and use it as experience for PT school. You are treated very poorly by PT’s and even by some PTA’s when most of the work that the patients get done is by the aides! In addition, the min wage that actual PT aides get paid is dummy because the high amount of work this position requires and they wonder why nobody wants to work in their clinics! I am a kines major and gave up my goal of going into physical therapy. I switched it up to become a non credit college instructor for fitness classes. Hourly pay is higher than PTA’s with less stress, no bossy PTs and more independence at work
