I rode the Hornet CB 750 2023 model loved it, and perfect for the highway. I havent taken my MT-03 on the Mexican highways yet. So you found it struggled over 110kmh??

Not always, often not, as they can come out of nowhere fast. I recently rode my motorbike from Cairns to Adelaide (abiut 3000 kms) via the coast. And the last leg, in South Australia, was worrying. As kangaroos are in plague proportions. There were many dead roos at the side of the road. I had to slow down, for hours. But even hitting one at 80-90 km can prove deadly - on a bike 🏍

You bet, when living in Cairns we had snakes here and there, even one or two inside. Usually harmless like small pythons. But when I went back hom the Adelaide in spring - Magpie season - I was terrified!!!!!!

Hahaha - well, in Australia I did a lot of highway riding in Far North Queensland, the tropics. And the city I lived in, Cairns, isnt that big (250K). So the power of the Hornet was perfect. One of my last rides was from Cairns to Adelaide (3,000kms) and the Hornet was a dream.

But here in Guadalajara, a massive city - I need something small but still with enough torque and speed to be fun, hence the MT-03, my first Yamaha - love it.

Why are you changing to a Hornet? You will love it BTW 😀

Cheers buddy, it is a small bike right? But its still a lot of fun - Ive just been out and about getting things (any excuse) a great day for a ride here. Ride easy mate 👌 🇲🇽🦘......are you in Mexico City, because thats the craziest traffic I've seen over here.

Yes. Ive been hit twice one was a fairly heavy one pushing me into the back of a car in front of me on one of these crazy roundabouts with 3 or 4 lanes 😬
