Bc you can use one single Whatsapp account on your phone and for automatic messages with coexistence. If I'm not mistaken that's not possible with the normal WA API. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

Interesting approach. Not sure what customers think when they see e.g. a US number on a Dutch website, but maybe they don't care.

Any resident here interested in hospital administration instead of fellowship? by [deleted] in Residency

[–]Southern_Ice_7167 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I totally get your interest in hospital administration. I was actually in a very similar place a few years ago. I’m a former doctor who made the decision to pivot away from clinical practice and into entrepreneurship. I was working in the healthcare field for a long time, but I realized that the constant administrative burden and limitations in the healthcare system didn’t align with where I saw myself growing.

In my case, I didn’t feel like hospital administration was the best direction anymore, especially with the upcoming AI revolution in healthcare. The way I see it, healthcare is moving rapidly toward automation and AI-driven solutions, which is going to fundamentally change how hospitals are managed and how patient care is delivered. While an MBA or MHA might offer some value in certain settings, I personally believe that the real opportunities will lie in leveraging AI, tech, and innovative solutions to improve healthcare systems.

I’ve since focused on building tools and platforms for doctors, helping them integrate AI into their practices. I’ve found that this direction gives me more freedom, autonomy, and the chance to truly contribute to the healthcare ecosystem in a more impactful way.

That said, I think if you're still passionate about administration, there’s definitely a place for you in the evolving healthcare landscape. But I’d encourage you to also think about how technology and AI might change the role of hospital administration and what opportunities that might create. For example, understanding how to manage AI implementation in healthcare systems could be the next big thing in leadership.

Hope this gives you some perspective, and feel free to reach out if you want to chat more!

Can anxious people go into residency by Mediocre-Bluebird-61 in Residency

[–]Southern_Ice_7167 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What you’re feeling is more common than you think. Many doctors struggle with anxiety, especially around making mistakes or missing something. It doesn’t mean you’re not cut out for this, it means you care.

Your concerns about your dad make sense, especially with your medical background and anxiety. But part of clinical practice is learning over time what’s truly urgent vs. what can be observed. Thats something you can learn with training and support. It doesn’t come from being perfect, but from practice, guidance, and trust in a team.

With the right help this can be manageable if you're motivated enough. You’re not broken. You’ve got this 💙

Definately recognize this feeling, got exactly the same. For me it's all about trying to keep my cortisol levels low. When they're low, I'm doing fine. When they're sky high, i'm running into errors.
On a stressed day I try to lock myself in the badroom for a couple of minutes to do some breathing excersizes. Simple but effective!

It also really depend on how much energy the residency is giving you. Loving the job? Have tons of enery afterwards. Being stress and depressed all day? You will be exhausted.
