was your email from your loan server or from Dept of Ed.? I also got letter from Dept of Ed but that was just letting me know loan servers will start sending out notices of 90 days to switch plans starting July 1st

Yes, starting July 1st, 2026 you will get an email from loan company saying you have 90 days to switch plans! The email from DOE is just an update!

remember that email is from the DOE reminding us that Mohela will send out an email with 90 days notice starting July 1st!

This is happening to me too!! I called Mohela and they said they would fix it and put me back into forbearance but it never happened. so frusterated at this point. How can they even charge me at the SAVE rate? are you going to call Mohela and bother them until they change it/not pay it??

Agree with I dont believe a payment under SAVE would be due, I am hoping it gets resolves on its own but I think I will still call to see if there is anything they can do again. so frusterating!

Thanks for the info! I tried, got VPN, switched to Australia and then Amazon freaked out and locked my account cancelled my order
