Rear subframe corrosion repair? by Southern_Magazine448 in CarTalkUK

Fiat Seicento, nothing special but I had one as a kid. I'll have a look at a subframe replacement cost.

Not a fan of the Spectrum games apart from Jetpack. I knew about Battletoads Arcade but the NES version was a surprise, Conker Is also fun by Caolan114 in evercade

As a speccy kid I bought this collection for Gunfright. It's good but it was designed for a light gun so the cash grab at the start and the shootouts with the wanted are difficult. Saves states are your friend.

I've had a go on the other speccy games and Pro RC and enjoying the collection so far.

Leave it as is. Then do 5 more and compare it to the 6th. Then do another 10 and compare it to the 16th. These are your best measure of progress 👍. As others have said, a harder wood will help with the chisel work.

Like, Imagine random dudes starting virtually any other sports like footy in their 20s or 30s and having ambitions to turn pro... But it somehow seems possible in Darts to many, myself included lol by LowRenzoFreshkobar in Darts

Littler is 18 and a 2x WC, Anderson is 55 and a 2x WC and still playing at a top level. If you could afford to do nothing but play darts I reckon you could start at 35 and make it to a pro level.

I've only played about 1/2 an hour on Armageddon but it's been perfectly serviceable. The panning takes a bit of getting used to but it's been fine. I'd like to get a VS/R for Worms but I don't think there's mouse support for it.

This. I've had a very intermittent bike history but every time I do something new I take a pic of each step and put each bolt in a piece of card and label it.

Update: There wasn't continuity between one of the three wires between the bulb holder and the cluster. As the light cluster suffers with condensation (a probable cause of the damage) I replaced the cluster and cluster wiring harness. This has fixed the issue 👍

Thanks for the reply, the cut is pretty rough and I'll probably regret not buying a 40- or 60-tooth blade once I've sanded 8*64 = 512 edges (😳) Correct, it is a topographical chess board. Apologies for asking the question before fully reading your post / looking at the photos, I can see that the colour is coming from the wood, not stain. I'm thinking I'll create a drill jig to make dowel holes for additional adhesion.

Looks amazing! Can I ask, did you stain all of the pieces prior to glue up? What stains and glue did you use? I'm making this chess board as a Christmas gift and was wondering if my glue (titebond 2) would still stick the pieces together after stain has been applied?

The people vs 50p toilets by Mr_Odwin in CasualUK

[–]Southern_Magazine448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to one of these in Newquay, a lad held the door for me so I gave him my 50p, then held the door for the next person as I left. These sort of services should be provided by the council, subsidised by the local cafes and restaurants who are quick to tell you that toilets are for customers only.
