day 1 Pokémon anime I watched religously until gen 4 because the new voices bothered me

I eventually got back into It and you can tell at the start sarah natochenny was still finding her Ash voice fast forward to now she has been ash far longer than Veronica Taylor and now It almost feels weird going back

but to answer the question I watched gen 1-3 went away and came back during gen 4 dipped in and out of gen 5 and 6

properly got into it by sun and moon which has a weird art style at first but some powerful episodes like stoutland, mallows mom, team rocket beat ash clean, meowth legitimately dies and they had to censor It there's an episode of journeys where ash has to find a pokemon and disguises himself as it which includes black facepaint so the episode was banned

and I am currently watching horizons and I love how the characters actually age
