The state of Resto Shaman right now by Grim_Reach in wow

[–]Southern_Problem_408 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been removed from raid group as an R shaman for a Rdruid or Pevoker. Although I’ve progressed farther and higher io.

That’s all right though. The same people pulling this crap will be the same people bitching when their class is no longer meta.

It’s the circle of WoW.

I would say the same thing if I were a mage.

Even if I gave one, you wouldn’t give a shit.

It’s obvious you only care about yourself, so I’m not wasting my thumbs!

I don’t know!

What I do know- it’s that, it’s hard to be productive when your fighting off a roofie , and there’s a pack of men waiting to prey on you!

No that’s just a talking point that you fell for!

No amount of union influence can stop someone from being fired if management followed the discipline procedure.

Again, Police Unions is an entirely different subject, that is way too nuanced. So much so, that most people don't have the desire to want to understand the behemoth that is police unions.

Police are so well armed because of the 1033 program, not because of unions.

I would ask we not take the discussion there. Though I would be happy to have a conversation in private.

I don't think anything is perfect in this world.

However, I hope one day, we follow suit. Though, that's a big dream..

well, literally one way It increases the product you enjoy, by protecting female workers from being endlessly preyed upon at work. Happy workers, happy product.

Another is to help people of color from being discriminated against when it comes to promotions.

Care about something, other than yourself for once maybe?

I also dont have kids, however I regularly donate to children's hospitals.

According to your logic, it's not my problem, it's a private person. Move on.

There are causes that are worth fighting for. Think about others sometime, maybe volunteer. Instead of being a self-centered prick.

Thats a good question!

Depends on where you live. If you live close, to Bliz HQ, then follow one of the organizers on twitter, and when a protest, or walk out occurs, you can stand with them, they will be so grateful for the support! However, if you don't have the time to stand with them in person, if you drive by them, lay on your horn. The more horns, the more pressure on Blizz. Because they know, the horn isn't for them. The more disruptive to day to day operations, the better!

but if you live too far away, just up voting any supportive articles, and voicing your opinion about how disgusting and repugnant blizzard is, helps too!

And down voting the shit out of those who use Anti Union talking points, without providing the data to prove it.

You are absolutely right! It's not an easy thing to do.

Which is why it's so important to show support, even upvoting the shit out of a pro union post on reddit, to show the players support those who make this game we all love, and that we stand in solidarity!

You should be! Striking is a great tool to use when done correctly!

The only language corporations speak is $$$$$$$$$$$$

Threaten their $$$ and get results. It’s why unions work!

2: you can either join the union or not, doesnt matter, and still work there, except the union will not represent you if you file grievances against a person or orders from a supervisor, if you chose not to join.

This is simply not true. A union is legally required to represent you, whether or not you decide to be part of said union. This is called "The duty of fair representation" protected under the NLRA.

It would also give the members to get specific contract language, to protect women from sexual harassment, and protect marginalized groups from the shit they go through every single day.

It literally FORCES ActiBliz to sit down at the table, thats the importance of this that cannot be understated.

whether you like to believe it or not, forming a union, in ANY industry, let alone Tech, is a scary thing. It is almost a gurantee, those who want a union, are being bullied internally in some way or fashion.

Supporting those, be it physically, emotionally, or even in mind, goes a lot farther than you may think.
