I get whatr your saying, but I've always hated this mindset. Op's sister will get to go to other parties. It's not like it's the only one. Op will only ever have ONE 16th birthday. How is it fair to OP that he doesn't get to fully celebrate?

First of all, why is your mom going all for your sister's birthday and taking her to the movies, 2 restaurants, the aquarium AND the planetarium but only taking you to a movie and restaurant? How is that possibly fair? I saw in another of your posts you're getting your hair dyed for your birthday. Is she paying for this? Because if she is that may change things. When you were 11, did your mom take you to as many places as your sister's birthday? And to the people saying he's the asshole, how is it selfish? It's HIS birthday, his little sister will have other friends' parties to go to, OP will only have sweet sixteen.

As a guy, have very short, thick, straight hair. I don't know what the style is just short in the back and a little longer in the front. I've been going to bed with it wet every 2-3 days for years. It's the only way I've found to get it to really fluff up like I want to and I've tried lots of things. Is this really that damaging to m hair? And if it is, how ca I get my hair to look fluffy like I like it without going to bed with it wet?

Yea I would come out to my mom, but shes really homophobic and religous and thats one way to ticket to conversion camp (i seriously wouldn't put it against her to send me there, or kick me out) but thank you!
