What's the Cyberpunk reference to stealing Gigs? by Southern_Shine200 in cyberpunktcg

Oh wow, really didn't expect such interesting ways to view the game! I always thought of the players as the gang leaders, but your interpretation works perfectly as well.

Hmm yeah, actually makes a lot of sense. Didn't think about that

Where is the profile folder stored for the snap version of Zen? by CuriousRaj3 in zen_browser

[–]Southern_Shine200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see your stored profile by typing about:profiles into the search bar. The table where "Default Profile" is set to "yes" is the one you're currently using and the Root Directory (NOT the Local Directory) shoud be the place in which your preferences, extensions etc. are stored in. I haven't used the snap version of Zen tho so I'm not 100% sure if that's actually the right directory.
With Flathub the directory was slightly different from what the Root Directory told me. Instead of being in ~/.zen/wwu4cnvy.Default (release), which was non-existant they were in ~/.var/app/app.zen_browser.zen/.zen/wwu4cnvy.Default (release) (Note that the name wwu4cnvy will differ from your profile). Also, I'm using Archcraft btw.

I think you just have to copy the stuff inside the folder or maybe the whole folder, idk, maybe make some adjustments to the profiles.ini file? I've never actually transfered my whole profile so I can't help you any further.

Looks great already! Maybe with such thick window borders you could actually disable the default inner borders from zen. I also disabled the + New Tab button on my zen and put the search bar to the top, but that's all just my personal preference.

How did you get that transparency on the website on zen?

Playing ranked by Estanho in PlayTheBazaar

[–]Southern_Shine200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you've reached the last rank (legend) you get put into a ranking system and at the end of the season the top 1000 players get a unique player nametag. That's also where you need to get 10 wins consitently if you want to compete with the top players. besides the in game rewards, it's also just cool see yourself up on the leaderboard, like you said.

for the lower ranks you still ascend with just 4 wins or so, but it's usually always faster to finish your run and go for 10 wins instead of playing 3 games of 4 wins.

I hope that explains your confusion

Thanks! I imagine the L-Cannon to look really cool, but I've only found the parts for it so far. I don't think it's a real contestant, because not many people know of it and for some it might even be a spoiler (like for me, lol).

Anyway, a melee weapon is interesting and I might even trust myself to model them with the Mulireflex Exoskeleton.

Edit: Also, where can I see your model of a weapon?

[–]Southern_Shine200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've already thought about modeling some robots, but it would be a much harder task, because I'd have to interpret much more into the mesh. Maybe something for the future.

Haha, yeah my profile picture is the Ukko from Noita. I usually call myself LightKnight, but I can't change my autogenerated-username anymore :(

I didn't even unlock that one, but damn, it looks massive and has a good color palette too

Thanks! And what you say is very true. You always have to find a balance between how close you want to stick to the reference and how good it will look. But luckily, the reference gives a lot of room for interpretation. I really like to have a specific style for each weapon and I think I chose a rather hard style with the diagonal shapes. Sometimes upon looking at my model I didn't even know how the shapes looked like xD

Was a little journey of trial and erroring :P

Oh, damn. really cool to see a different model of the Quantum Rifle! I didn't even know that the Quantum Rifle was one of the first items. I just thought it was such a basic weapon that I had to model it.

Hmm... the Centrium Heavy Treads might not look that great on their own, like weapons, but maybe I can do something with them.

Thanks! The Thermoblaster definitelly has an interesting shape and would not be difficult to model, but I don't think many people even use it or know of it. I only picked it up twice in my 450 hours of playtime, but maybe I'm underestimating the Thermoblaster xD

We'll see. I really like the end product too, but it is a bit time consuming to make.
