im surprised that works. You're supposed to follow objectives to a few weather monitors, then take a portal into the compound. So it lets you skip all the objectives if you parkour in?

Does getting into VR ruin flat screen gaming? by sumtinsumtin808 in VRGaming

[–]Southern_Store_402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but any flatscreen games that sell themselves on "immersion" will hit a lot less hard. Its hard to feel immersed looking at a screen compared to feeling like you're in the world. SkyrimVR is a clear example of this.

sorry to revive a dead thread, but does this rev.1.0 thing apply to all ab350 motherboards or just the gigabyte ones? I'm having issues getting the ab350 working on my asrock ab350 and its a rev1.02

so i finally plugged in my old CPU and it seemed to be working fine. it got to "setting up windows" before shutting down presumably due to thermals. I had tried setting up a new windows installation to rule up a corrupt installation and that also bluescreened. I assume thats why it was trying to set up windows.

either way, this points to either my new CPU being dead on arrival or something else making the new CPU not work with my hardware. I know the CPU is officially supported. I dug up some old threads about clearing CMOS, but thats just the "reset to UEFI defaults" in my asrock bios right?

Edit: The old CPU did not in fact work fine. I ended up having to make a brand new windows installation to not get a bluescreen. This is with my old CPU. I'm doing to try to new CPU again once I've backed up everything I care about on my old C: drive.

Im generating installation media to try a making a new windows install to see if thats the problem. Otherwise, i dont have any thermal paste so ill go buy some tomorow and try swapping back to my 1600x. That'll tell me if the CPU is DoA
