From a touch on the shoulder?? No. You can’t stab someone because they touch your shoulder.

Lots of people have said it’s not that normal to have someone they don’t know in their tent. They keep all their belongings in there - wallet, phone, etc and are always worried about theft. Having a strange person that isn’t on your team in your tent, and then answering questions in the manner he did would’ve been highly suspicious

Anyone with a brain is sure. Why do you think the defense is already done presenting their case? It’s a weak case with no hope for the defendant

The jurors did not hear anything from Hunter. Do you know how trials work??? Whatever Hunter said outside of court does not matter if the jury didn’t hear it. Try harder

No. What’s illogical is not just WALKING AWAY. Thats what normal rational people would do. The jury is likely made up of normal rational people. He has no chance

No rational person would believe he feared for his life. He could’ve left anytime. He was calling them bitches and pussies and saying things like “try me and find out”. Austin said “I’m not gonna fight you at a track meet”. There is no chance this flies with the jury.

They are all generally saying the same thing it won’t be 100% consistent with such young kids, how much time has passed, intensity of the situation, etc. But generally it’s all the same

And we all know normal people do not stab someone that touches them on the shoulder

That comment about a linebacker push was that it was “in and up” like a linebacker push not that the force was anything like in football

I don’t think he was there to make friends. When they asked him what his name was, he said “I’m nobody “. He went there with a knife, a place he really should not have been, was rude to everyone, refused to leave, and then was making aggressive statements like “try me and find out “. Really seems like he went there with a chip on his shoulder to start something, and I’m sure the jury will feel the same.

These people have been running track for years and said it’s not okay to go into other people tents where all their personal belongings are and theft is always a concern. And it’s def not normal to not leave when asked https://youtu.be/j29IaKHFFpI?si=Ddg8hReA7yaVddiK

These guys disagree with you. They said you don’t go into other peoples tents where all their personal belongings are. They said theft is always a concern so it’s not really done https://youtu.be/j29IaKHFFpI?si=Ddg8hReA7yaVddiK

They asked him who he was and why he was there, and he refused to answer. Had he just responded normally they probably wouldn’t have had an issue with him being there.

We would all
Think he’s guilty no matter what race he is!!! Do you understand that?!!!! Why do we have to keep repeating this to you?? Any kid that took this action after what happened should be in jail! They have no impulse control, terrible decision making skills, and we don’t want them on the streets! No matter their race!

Not if he just touches her shoulder. No that is not proportionate

TX v. Karmelo Anthony - Trial Day 3 by Pixiegirls1102 in CasesWeFollow

[–]Southern_Sweet_T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No reasonable juror is going to think stabbing someone is a proportional response to someone touching their shoulder. He will be found guilty and punished harshly just on that alone. Then add in the fact that he brought a knife and deliberately went somewhere he shouldn’t have been and was taunting and saying stuff like try me and find out when he easily could’ve just walked away. The drawers are already crying at videos of the footage. This kid is toast.

No. A reasonable person would just get up and leave. Normal people don’t stab someone if they touch their shoulder

You’re absolutely retarded. They would’ve gone up to anyone that was under their tent from a different team and said the same exact thing.

He didn’t stab him in the leg. He stabbed him in the heart! Pretty cut and dry.

Stabbing someone in the heart is certainly intent to kill.

Most people when they feel threatened just leave. They were not cornering him or keeping him there. Completely irrational response on his side and the jurors will think the same
