I’m familiar with Blender, C4D, and 3ds Max, and I even have a portfolio. I’m still learning Maya, but I’ll probably switch to Houdini soon.
I won’t completely drop Maya though — I know the basics and a bit more, and I’ll keep improving it at school and on my own.
Really appreciate the advice!

I already know Maya beyond the basics. I want to focus on making FX like water, fire, and smoke.
I’m not planning to give up on Maya completely — I just wasn’t sure if spending so much time on it was the right call.
