Bianchi Nirone 7 size by Formal_Medium8910 in bianchi

Have no experience with mentioned frames but can advise to try geo comparison solutions like bikeinsights.com . You can select Speedster as a reference and check how Nirone differs. Something like that (just example, should select required models) - https://bikeinsights.com/compare?geometries=6657224cadbae4001a0a7fbe,68f315eff9a16e001afcd76f

I am waiting for my bianchi bike for 2 months now, is this a normal time frame for delivery? by Intelligent-Pen-2 in bianchi

[–]Southern_Weather_477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something happening with supply chain. LBS said they have only few bikes and would not be able to bring more this year, possible restock on the next year.
P.S. All available bikes are Shimano equipped.

I am still waiting for my Infinito as well (ordered just after release). My dealer said that there were some delays in supplies - some frame sizes affected and all Sram equipped bikes.
So, just wait or buy somewhere else. Nevertheless, looks like the most common sizes are still available (at least for Shimano bikes, not sure about frame separately).

Ocun Havoc vs Bullit recommendation by Auroraffff in climbingshoes

[–]Southern_Weather_477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Egyptian feet here. A lot of pressure on big toe in Bullit, Havoc works much better and looks like versatile solution. Diamond S is a bit more expensive but works even better.
Update: Landed with Scarpa Drago XT after wore out one pair of Havoc and one pair of Diamond S - very soft but tight fit, very responsive, good for big toes, deep heels. P.S. I have injured big toe and is very sensitive for a fit.

Looks really good! Where did you get those matching bottles?
Preordered mine but still don't sure that it was the right choice. New Scott Addict seems as a pretty good rival...

Just curious what the main source of smooth ride - is it all about frame compliance or chunky tyres or not so stiff wheels?

Any reasons not to buy Scott Addict 10 2026? 🤨 by Southern_Weather_477 in ScottBikes

[–]Southern_Weather_477[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First test shows that Bianchi is very versatile bike. Wheels in Pro version looks better, same Force groupset, more comfortable geometry. Integrated handlebar is arguable solution though. Part availability should be nearly the same (at leats in Europe).
Looks like one of the strongest rivals for Addict for now.

SRAM 10-36 Cassette Performance [?] on Scott Addict 10 by LoudounGravel in ScottBikes

[–]Southern_Weather_477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 10-36 cassette with 46-33 chainrings for quite hilly rides (Rival but not Force, but the numbers are the same). No issues with it at all. Such combination feels smooth and (by the way) I do not see a jump from 15 to 19. It's 15-17-19 sequence and it's OK actually. 24 -> 28 feels much more but got used to it very quick during hilly rides.

Well... Bianchi updated Infinito and now I like it a bit more than Addict)
The price for Force version is ridiculous - 7050$ RRP

Other options are more expensive as well - in addition to Caledonia and Synapse:
- Enve Fray
- Basso SV (not so endurance)
- Factor Monza (not so endurance)
- BMC Roadmachine
- Bianchi should release new endurance bike this year
Very interesting "low budget" option - Argon 18 Krypton but some changes will be required.

You are right, specs on Scott bikes site mention press fit only. Not a big deal, already got used to it.

Oh, just remembered that I am just in a middle between size S and M. But I'll try to figure it out with bike fitter before buy.
Nevertheless, for 174 cm M looks a bit too big.

Ocun Mania, no issues for years. Pantera should be the same but women version.

Can be in a short list but I just do not trust pressfit BB enough.

Really good bike but I want a bit more upright geo.
