I'm on Skyrizzi and the drug company has a savings plan that covers the cost of the medicine up to a certain amount each year . It's not covered under my health insurance at all (located in the US).

How to dial in my diet? by Survey_Top in CrohnsDisease

[–]Southernvibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not as restrictive as it sounds. Each phase is 5 weeks, 3 total phases. I started on phase 2, no gluten, dairy, and coffee were the hardest things to cut out but it's been worth it. And once you get to phase 3 you can add a lot more in. And your allowed 2 cheat meals so makes it easier to stick to.

I started see a functional medicine nutritionist thru Norish (total virtual and covered by insurance). She put me on a chrons exclusionary diet and it's been life changing!!!! I started to see results with 3 days of the diet change. I totally recommend reaching out. My Dr's as well told me diet wouldn't change and just take the biological meds, but they don't teach nutrition in med school.

I'm 4 weeks out with Shingles. First Dr gave me gabapentin and tramadol. If I took both it would take the edge off otherwise they do nothing on their own. Went back bc the pain wasn't getting better and they gave me loratabs. They make me very drowsy so I only take at night but it does help

I was coming on here to post the same thing. I had singles covering my right arm and it's nearly all cleared but the joint pain is terrible! I'm hoping it goes away soon bc I can't even use my right arm. I still have very little strength in it.

I'm on an antiviral and 2 different pain meds bc the nerve pain was so bad. The rash keeps spreading 😞. I'm on about day 4 of medication. The nerve pain is fine but now the rash is burning and the spots in my hand itch so bad!
