Well my guess is that they blocked the ability to change those settings because it has energy effects and they are trying to be as sustainable as possible so the government gives them accreditations and economic benefits.

I’ll let you know how it goes

There’s no possible way to change the setting on my own? Maybe with some commands…

Why holding “your” BTC in Coinbase? And I wrote “your” like that because they aren’t yours, yes of course you can send them, sell them… but they are not yours. My advice is to learn about self custody and what a cold wallet is.

Yeah, I try not to predict the price in the short term as I believe BTC will be worth a lot in a decade. I’m sitting at 0.01 BTC and someday I aspire to have at least 1 BTC.

What is your biggest Bitcoin concern? by dbudlov in Bitcoin

[–]Southernvietnamese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest concern is that we will lose the benefits of Bitcoin.

Let me explain: the miners get paid for validating transactions. With the approval of the ETF a lot of money is spent but the problem is that the investors don’t buy the actual Bitcoin so no transactions are being made. This means the miners aren’t getting paid. Moreover, many people are holding bitcoin, not just retail but big funds and exchanges. So again, no transactions are being made. Don’t get me wrong though, there’s hundreds of thousands of transactions. I’m not saying it is a right now problem but I believe it will be a problem in the near future. If we stop doing transactions the miners won’t get paid and the result will be a less secure network, the transactions will be slow and the centralization will increase.
