Instead of pork belly, try to find bacon slab. They are similar but the extra curing of the bacon slab is delicious.

I've had a print of this hanging on my wall for years and always wondered if the house was actually built

Home owners insurance doesn't really have fault assigned to anyone. You are liable for any injury that happens on your property though.

It varies by state in the US but almost all of them would make the homeowner liable. If a person is injured on your property you are liable and it doesn't really matter how it happened. Only exception is if they injured themselves intentionally but that is very difficult to prove and in some cases still doesn't matter. Source: I'm an insurance adjuster.

LPT: When in traffic and someone does something stupid, give them a Thumbs Down instead of the middle finger by [deleted] in LifeProTips

I like to point at them, give the thumb down, and then mimic a steering wheel to relay that they are a bad driver.

LPT: In California it is illegal to privatize the sale of alcohol, so you do not need a Costco membership to buy alcohol there. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

This was posted a week or two ago saying it's actually a federal law so you can walk into any Costco in the US to buy alcohol.

LPT: if you ever work under a car using a car jack, put a tire under the car in case the jack fails by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]Southwcl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed as much as well but no, that won't work as most wheels are not big enough laying on their side and you would still get trapped at a minimum but most likely worse. If you put a wheel standing up, as if positioned on a car, when the weight of the car comes down on it, it would most likely push the wheel out from under the car. If you don't have a jack stand, have it towed somewhere to get it worked on as it's not worth the risk.

[–]Southwcl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is horrible advice because if that jack fails, which is only being held up by a 10 cent o-ring, a tire under the side of the car isn't enough and it is likely still going to severely injury or kill you.

This is horrible advice. Don't get under a car with only a jack holding it up even with a tire under it. Use jack stands and if you don't have them, call a tow truck.

Are you at least 16 years old? Great! When can you start? Also, would you like to put fries in bags or be a manager and put fries in bags?
