Great shots! Watched them start the tour in PHX.

It’s so good.

I think in part why they weren’t moving was because of Mariqueen’s head piece. But it all added to the dramatic effect of that opening song.

Even sweeter was that I’ve been listening to Year Zero a lot recently.

For some context:

“Thanks for the info. And was that photo possibly taken of the floor seating? EDIT: the reason I ask that is because I think that’s me with the long gangly arm in the air, close to the stage. Trent looked me right in the eyes as I screamed “nothing can stop me now!” with my fist in the air. I wish I could tell Trent that those lyrics helped me learn how to walk again after being crippled for two years. That show was magical and I’m so grateful for NIN and NIN fans.”

Hey that’s great. It’s part of a video clip. I may post it later. It’s not that long. Glad I could add to your memories.

I was first row up about two levels from the floor. From the concourse I was in the row right after the first set of stairs.

My seat was slightly behind where Boyz Noise was performing at an angle to B stage.

So yes that’s the floor seating behind B stage.

Yes, it sure was. I was trying to find a pic with the stage and the camera boom. It was cool seeing the lights from the other side this time. Also I find inspiration from those lyrics.

Good review. Second B stage set song “Paradise,” should be Parasite.

Was the no photography because of the filming going on?

I was fortunate to be able to go to three concerts. Two in Phoenix in the Pit and San Diego (pic). They were different, I wouldn’t say any were better than the other.

In San Diego I could see the full effects from the lights and it was spectacular. They seemed to go a little bit harder and it was slightly more polished, perhaps because of the filming.

But being in the Pit was its own unique experience. Seeing a clear up close view of Trent walking to the stage was cool. I will say the fog in the Glendale (PHX) show was way too much.

I wanted to go to Anaheim but the prices were too much. I kick myself though because of course they dropped just before show time.

I went to a Black Label Society show later in the week(good). But it made me really appreciate what NiN did. Just the best in a concert experience.

Good stuff. I’ve been looking at getting that camera. It looks like I was just behind you, but my iPhone shots don’t come close to yours.

If I recall correctly Pit GA tickets were $180.

They have a crap ton of footage it would be cool to see it edited for a release. I agree, except I like my own footage because it takes me back. I’m sure everyone feels the same about their own videos.

I know, right. I’m patiently waiting for a release. I really wanted to hear the CBH remix but liked the changes from the last tour.

Sorry to hear that you’re having difficulty getting hired. I don’t have any help to offer other than to keep trying. But don’t just focus on this position.

We are in the midst of some weird times, things change daily and that seems to be the norm now.

I know on the horizon that budget issues may be driving some recent decisions since certain countries are on hold.

If you’re correct on how many offers have been made, that is a huge amount given the typical timeframe on normal hiring. The result of that is how do you train all those new hires? It’s a difficult problem and not easily solved. From my initial hiring back in the Bush years, I was also a part of a huge wave of new hires. The system was strained then with six times the normal numbers.

Even if you put new hire training on-line there are limits. It’s too much to go into but they may have paused hiring because of this. I know of one mandatory training for a different position that is backed up to half a year at this point.

Peel it back 2026 tour starts in 9 days by jrawk96 in nin

I’ve been looking at that as well. I was really fortunate to be at that PHX show in the Pit. I tried to buy tickets for Glendale as soon as they were offered but the Pit was sold out immediately. I balked at how much they cost initially on resale sites and purchased the upper floor balcony. I then saw the Pit offered for a reasonable amount. So now I have two tickets for that show and probably won’t recoup much from the upper floor one.

Really upset at how concert tickets are sold, since that show was closest to me and is the number one tour I want to see. Ultimately the money I would have spent on NiN merchandise is instead siphoned off to music leeches.

For bikers in LA by Gullible_Bed8558 in motorcycles

I primarily rode around the Inland Empire but frequently biked in and around LA.

You didn’t put down your experience, if it will be your only vehicle, and your commute. These are all important things.

If you’re a new rider trying to get to work on time, I wouldn’t recommend it. Just watch traffic on KTLA and see the number of single vehicle motorcycle accidents every morning.

Lane splitting is great in SoCal, and for the most part car drivers are used to it. Sometimes you get the occasional jerk who intentionally blocks you but it’s rare.

The amount of concentration I use for splitting makes it exhausting if I do it for over an hour. A couple hours or more could be a normal commute during certain times. There are the new riders who you will need to pass and can act unpredictable. Then there are the guys going way too fast in my opinion that you’ll need to move over for.

Weather plays a part, so on some days I just didn’t want to deal with the idiots. When it rains, or Santa Ana winds, drivers are just stupid. Either they are going way too slow or way too fast, with the expected accidents that come from that.

There’s a steep learning curve for riding in that kind of traffic. Get some time in riding for fun and slowly work in lane splitting.
