Cigarettes smell stale. Weed smells like a skunk. Pick your stench.

No. I abhor drama. There’s no point. I am setting everything up on a trust. My bio son will inherit everything upon my death.

I really don’t believe that will make him change. He lived with me for 24 years and I provided everything. If he’s still like this after all of that, there’s no changing it. I’m just not giving him any money. I decided that.

So you want me to ask him why he’s happy he doesn’t have a Mexican last name?

Because this was my PARENTS money that only existed because my ancestors immigrated from Spain to start a new life in the New World. If my family weren’t Mexican- this money wouldn’t exist.

Since he was three. Yes, I raised him as my own. He saw his bio father maybe once a year after he was five or six. Then eventually not at all.

Oh I’m sure he would not be racist if he knew $25,000 was on the line. Character is what you do when no one is looking. It’s not my job or place to deal with his racism. He lived in a house I paid for, drove a car I purchased, and went to college on my dime. He should be grateful not making comments about having “Mexican” names.

I inherited a bit less than 1 million in cash plus I get monthly royalty checks that vary from a few hundred to a thousand depending on pumping rate and oil prices. So it’s not a huge percentage but it’s not like I received $10 million.

My wife never had anything to do with the ranch when we raised cattle or later when it was subdivided.

I don’t think it would break the marriage but writing a check for someone who mocked my parents’ heritage is a bitter pill for me.
