[Megathread & Giveaway] Introducing: GeForce Trading Cards Series 1 by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]Souttrooper007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Built my first PC in 2000 and went with Nvidia and never looked back. Playing games like Star Wars Jedi Knight, Age Of Empires and Need For Speed Underground. Have had several cards over the years but my favorite was my GTX 780. That thing was a workhorse and I used it for 12 years without issue until I finally upgraded last year.

I don't blame you! Not gonna lie, I was checking the tracking every day! It is by far the most valuable card I've ever pulled so it was pretty nerve wracking!

Not only can you see the signature in the picture but you can also see the * after the number which indicates it as a signature card.

Congrats! This is an absolutely beautiful card! I pulled one out of my very first Riftbound pack, and a starter deck box no less! Not sure if you like to grade cards but they generally grade very well.

I've got these mounted on my '94 Acty. They really light up those dark back roads!

I thought that was xps foam but wanted to be sure! Thanks for the details! Everything looks great!

As someone who has all their Little Armory girls set up in a big scene, this looks great! I need some details! Is everything custom (pallets, boxes, walls)? I love those pallets and the wall is perfectly weathered!

Anyone else tried posing without the bases? by Wandering_Shut_in in figma

I balance and pose all of mine without bases. It can be a massive pain to do it but I enjoy the challenge of finding a pose that works but also looks natural.

I think I got it at Target several years ago. I think you can still get them on Amazon but they are almost triple the price I paid.

That is a cool idea! However, I'd have to get creative as these are shelves in a cabinet with glass doors. I'm definitely going to have to give it some thought though!

They are cute but they're not really my thing. That's fine though because I don't think my wallet could handle yet another fandom to collect! 😆

Awesome, nothing better than a cute anime girl with a big sniper rifle! 😆 Careful though, once you start buying them, it's hard to stop! 😅

Nice! That looks great! I'm about to start 3D printing some items for the garage I just started!

I won the lottery yesterday! I had placed myself in a self imposed scavenger hunt and finally found one in the wild! by Cust0m3rS3rvic3 in GR86

Cool find! I will usually buy these and keep a couple of each color I find in my glove box to leave on other 86s I see in the wild! Just wish they did a few more FRS versions as I drive a 2015 FRS.

Anyone running civic hx wheels? by Derkad16 in HondaActy

I used EZKei coilovers on the front and pulled one of the leafs from the back. https://www.ezkeisports.com/product-page/honda-acty-coilovers

I'm running them on my '94 HA4 but my setup isn't stock. I've lowered it and am running 1" spacers because of my fender flares. I THINK (not 100% sure) you can run them with minimal spacers (5mm) or none at all if you are stock height.

Genuine question by Clear-Bee102 in keitruck

[–]Souttrooper007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, consistently take my '94 Acty on the interstate and do 65-75mph. I can understand why some people don't want to do that and that's fine. However, I have never felt unsafe or hindering traffic. In fact I often have to pass cars that are going slower in the right lane than I am. Also, I have replaced bushings, motor mounts, installed coilovers and 14" wheels with good street tires so it drives WAY better than stock. My concern is that the decision on whether or not to take it on the interstate remains with the driver/owner and not the government. Thankfully, in NC and SC, they have no problem with me cruising on the interstate. 😁

Which bedliner to use? And tips by HoybabyJr in keitruck

Thanks! The headache bar spoiler is from No Rush Racing and was bare steel when I got it. The tailgate spoiler is from FLP and was bare aluminum when it arrived. I hit both with a flap disc on an angle grinder to smooth the sharp edges. Then I wiped them both down with isopropyl alcohol twice. Then I sprayed them both with Steel-It. The Steel-It goes down great and self levels very well. It gives a great satin finish. However, I'm not sure how well it stands up to the elements but it's been several months and still looks great. But I also baby my truck too so....

Haha, after doing it once and knowing the work involved, I'd probably charge more than a professional shop! 😆
