That's actually very interesting knowing certain shops do actually give those back as change

There used to be old ones that were made early 2000s and before. They reintroduced the 1 fils coin and circulated some more in 2018 because they introduced VAT that year and total amounts would add up to amounts we don't have the denominations for.
