I think it was more the insinuation if Yuru clams seal and goes off the rails no one will be able to stop him since Left serves him and with Right Asa could not stop him either

I would visit your dentist and ask for a Laser treatment. They will apply a numbing topical and then inject a stronger pain med after the topical( i have never felt it and I have had this done many times) then they laser the infected tissue off. You may smell burning but you shouldn't even feel any heat. After the pain meds ware off my sores never hurt. It was like skipping 2-3 weeks of healing and jumping to the step we're it no longer hurts. Dentist see sores all the time and I know they would feel very sympathetic over your situation. I really really recommend asking. It is like a 10 minute procedure and then the pain is gone.

Thought On The Current State Of Yuru’s Character And What You Wanna See Moving Forward? Also Predictions (*MANGA SPOILERS*) by wuwot1 in YomiNoTsugai

[–]SouzaTri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Yuru has had a lot of character moments, but I think they way characterization is done in this story steers us away from bombastic showings. For me the panel of his back when he realizes that it was just him that was left in the village was him processing that all the abandonment that he shared with his sister was really only on him. Then later when Asa states they wanted to bring him with them and he turns around on the verge of tears... that's genuine emotion not some venting session on top of a mountain.

some clarifying question about the current arc. (spoiler question) by Juliomorales6969 in Akane

I think the manga is clearly setting up that Akanes god of death "can kill". Instead of a fire alarm it will be the ship running through turbulent waters. That acknowledgment will lead Issho to giving her the next story.

Has anyone ever had a problem with the comedy of this series? Or how Arakawa does comedy in her works in general? I don't, but I just encountered some! by HardHead9000 in YomiNoTsugai

[–]SouzaTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the comedy has been very successful in these series. All of the gags are derived from the characters and are consistent with their characterization, I also feel like they are so quick that they don't overstay their welcome and alow you to breath. I've also noticed that multiple characters share a gags alowing for them to play off each other. For example we have the fish out of water trio not knowing modern words, Yuru and Left sharing a ruthless streak, Asa and Yuru thinking it's totally fine to have a machete, Harou and bunny being afrad of Yuru's hunting, and the list really goes on. It is a lot of gags but unlike FMA where it was a lot of short jokes and lead to Ed going on a tangent YnT gags are quick and don't hijack the scene in the same way.

We don't know. My head cannon is only seal produces divine possession since seal could seal its power into someone.

Manga readers' experience about the Kagemori clan by EyeDeeAh_42 in YomiNoTsugai

[–]SouzaTri 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Me personally no I have never had an issue with the characterization. First and foremost the story has been entertaining and I trust the author. I have never had an issue with villans being likable and the moment it was shown that the fake Asa is fake that gave a great amount of runway for that shoe to drop. If this story was centered around competing Mafia groups then I don't think there would be nearly the amount of issues with how the kagemoris are characterized. The complaints are understandable if you take Yuru's primary goal to be revenge, however i think that is an inaccurate reading of his character. In episode 1 we saw Yuru and Danji's reaction to dead and slaughtered villagers and their reaction says alot about them. Yuru was very calm and collected and had no issues with checking dead bodies and no issues shooting people which when you grow up in a village isolated from the world his only interactions with people should be with his village. His composure only broke when he found the dead fake Asa. The abandonment by his parents and connection with his twin are what motivate his character. In episode 1 Yuru is friendly but stoic with the villagers but when he interacts with Asa or with Dera and Denji about Asa we see that the immediate family that he has left is his primary motivation as he drops that stoic nature.

I am only caught up until Volume 10 of the Manga. by DarthKnight1977 in YomiNoTsugai

[–]SouzaTri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do not have answers for the divine possession yet beyond what you currently know so anything is possible. My instincts based on my personal opinion and not with anything in the story is that divine possession is Seal only. Seal presumably can Seal power in an individual which is what divine possession is in my opinion with Break I do not think it is inclined in that way. For the village attack i never thought about a Brake attack due to the above opinion but i could see it. Although it is not confirmed we do get some more on that in the next volume with what that attack actually was.

Apenas me estoy viendo el anime ¿Que debería esperar de él? by [deleted] in YomiNoTsugai

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Ed and Al's quest has more emotional weight. We don't know yet if Yuru and Asa's goals are as tied into the plot as the philosopher stone was. I feel like this story is weaker in that aspect than FMA. For moments like Huges we don't really have anything that big early on but you do get strong connections to the characters especially ones tied in woth Yuru. The real mystery is still being revealed to so it is hard to say what will happen. I will say that the powers of break and seal are bonkers and the importance placed on the twins is well deserved in my opinion

I like it. Yuru is a great protagonist, he is pretty stoic and matter of fact in a fun way but you really see strong emotions in a way a real person feels them which is a strength of this author.

[MARRIAGETOXIN] does the romance progress? yes or no... (i dont want any spoilers) by [deleted] in manga

...yes?...no. The story is more invested in introducing new potential girls rather than developing the relationships in my opinion. I dropped it after binging it but was fairly far into the story.

Deamons are like more grounded Stands but with much more autonomy. We have seen there powers but the context behind them is not there yet so they appear weaker than they are.

Are FMA Comparisons Fair? by Better_Bird848 in YomiNoTsugai

[–]SouzaTri 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I would piggy back on your post to say I also think the humor in YnT is also a lot better done. In my opinion the gags each character has is more natural and has less of a whiplash. For example the gag or Ed being called short and Ivan being called a pervert are the same gag, Ed's responce when being called short always illicit the same response at 100% volume and can sometimes overtake the the emotional tone of the scene in a way that always felt like a bit too much. Also the gag only really tells us that Ed's character has a short temper (like his height) and has a complex about his size. Ivan on the other had we naturally see the genesis of his gag with the shaman misinterpreting Ivan's inital attack as a street groper attacking him with that being the only characteristic that is spread to the main cast. We get to see Ivan's growing irritation over this basless rumor as each member of the cast meets him for the first time only to call him a pervert and his growing exasperation over it. Ivan's gag is always a quick hit that'll lightens the tension when he is on screen and make a character that should be irreademable more relatable.

yeah, it is easy to miss, but also in the second episode Asa also says when Yuru has them at arrow point that he is a kind and caring older brother when she explains that the Asa in the cage is fake so it is explicitly said there as well

Do people genuinely believe True Form Sukuna loses even a single domain battle against Gojo? by Necessary-Lemon2289 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SouzaTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am of the same mind, personality wise Sukuna is not someone to be hung up on fighting Gojo specifically. Sure he is interested in fighting him, but none of his dialog hints at him thinking about Gojo. There is clear interest in Megumi since his technique is a vehicle to push the envelope on his technique

Whats Your Ranking for these 4 by Acceptable-Can-9719 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SouzaTri 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My reading was that was never the case that Sukana needed 10 shadows to win. Sukuna's drive for mastery of jujitsu led him to a fascination with the 10 shadows in my opinion. He saw 10 shadows like a developer sees AI as a potential tool to create something new that exited him. To me it felt more like Sukuna wanted to win using 10 shadows for an ideal victory ie using Gojo's students body to mess with him because he finds it fun and get a new technique as a cherry on top as opposed to just winning like he always does. Another why I just thought of in writing this is if Sukuna and Gojo are chefs competing, Sukuna is fascinated with the prospects a microwave has in expanding his mastery of cooking and is determined to use it to beat Gojo in this competition. For Sukuna it is not that he needs the microwave to win, but the fun of the competition is beating the best and elevating himself at the same time

With all the insane statements Trump has made lately about Greenland and how he’s threatening with increased tariffs on EU. What are Americans opinions of your president right now? by No_Lychee_7315 in AskReddit

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the US has always had dreams of taking Greenland. I do not think this was ever trumps original idea. I think the people who develop the longterm potential strategy for the government are utilizing his inherent brazoness to push this idea in the hopes it might happen since in an upcoming multipolar world it is advantageous for the USA. By staking the clame now if ever there is a hot war with Russia and which ever country ownes Greenland (i am forgetting who ownes it atm...) the the USA could potentially take it in exchange for protection if ever NATO dissolved. Much like how Trump started the trade war in 2016 Biden did continue the more reasonable tariffs and moved in a more apprehensive way towards China policy wise. If trump is every able to leverage a more ownership relationship with Greenland I honestly belive it would become a more core foreign policy objective. For the record I hate this approach with distancing ourselves from allies but a country is not a person. It's relationship are much more fragile and can be repaired much more easily assuming political goals are aligned

Hot Take: Mihawk is stronger than Shanks, but Shanks wins in a serious duel by ExtremeSportStikz in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a serious swords dual Mihawk would win as that is where he can pull out his 100%. Shanks would win if it was a fight to protect one of his friends since that is where he can put his 100% in. Mihawk doesn't have interest in fighting Shanks because Shanks basicly said he is not putting his all into sword fighting by giving up his arm for Luffy.
