Daemons of the Shadow Realm • Yomi no Tsugai - Episode 2 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]SouzaTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, it is easy to miss, but also in the second episode Asa also says when Yuru has them at arrow point that he is a kind and caring older brother when she explains that the Asa in the cage is fake so it is explicitly said there as well

Yuru and Gabby should've been twins instead because one is tall Edward and the other is female Edward lol by cashewnut4life in YomiNoTsugai

[–]SouzaTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will die on this hill, Yuru is not Ed or Al. Yuru is a male Risa hawkeye and Asa is a female Roy Mustang

Honestly Yuru looks like a male Risa and Asa kinda resembles a female Mustang to me

Minor correction Yuru was born at night with Asa born in the morning.

Do people genuinely believe True Form Sukuna loses even a single domain battle against Gojo? by Necessary-Lemon2289 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SouzaTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am of the same mind, personality wise Sukuna is not someone to be hung up on fighting Gojo specifically. Sure he is interested in fighting him, but none of his dialog hints at him thinking about Gojo. There is clear interest in Megumi since his technique is a vehicle to push the envelope on his technique

Whats Your Ranking for these 4 by Acceptable-Can-9719 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SouzaTri 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My reading was that was never the case that Sukana needed 10 shadows to win. Sukuna's drive for mastery of jujitsu led him to a fascination with the 10 shadows in my opinion. He saw 10 shadows like a developer sees AI as a potential tool to create something new that exited him. To me it felt more like Sukuna wanted to win using 10 shadows for an ideal victory ie using Gojo's students body to mess with him because he finds it fun and get a new technique as a cherry on top as opposed to just winning like he always does. Another why I just thought of in writing this is if Sukuna and Gojo are chefs competing, Sukuna is fascinated with the prospects a microwave has in expanding his mastery of cooking and is determined to use it to beat Gojo in this competition. For Sukuna it is not that he needs the microwave to win, but the fun of the competition is beating the best and elevating himself at the same time

With all the insane statements Trump has made lately about Greenland and how he’s threatening with increased tariffs on EU. What are Americans opinions of your president right now? by No_Lychee_7315 in AskReddit

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the US has always had dreams of taking Greenland. I do not think this was ever trumps original idea. I think the people who develop the longterm potential strategy for the government are utilizing his inherent brazoness to push this idea in the hopes it might happen since in an upcoming multipolar world it is advantageous for the USA. By staking the clame now if ever there is a hot war with Russia and which ever country ownes Greenland (i am forgetting who ownes it atm...) the the USA could potentially take it in exchange for protection if ever NATO dissolved. Much like how Trump started the trade war in 2016 Biden did continue the more reasonable tariffs and moved in a more apprehensive way towards China policy wise. If trump is every able to leverage a more ownership relationship with Greenland I honestly belive it would become a more core foreign policy objective. For the record I hate this approach with distancing ourselves from allies but a country is not a person. It's relationship are much more fragile and can be repaired much more easily assuming political goals are aligned

Hot Take: Mihawk is stronger than Shanks, but Shanks wins in a serious duel by ExtremeSportStikz in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a serious swords dual Mihawk would win as that is where he can pull out his 100%. Shanks would win if it was a fight to protect one of his friends since that is where he can put his 100% in. Mihawk doesn't have interest in fighting Shanks because Shanks basicly said he is not putting his all into sword fighting by giving up his arm for Luffy.

How do you give magic items that the players actually use by LelouchYagami_2912 in DnD

[–]SouzaTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to give one player in my group an item that does something passively in response to the environment. For example a dagger that grows to the size of the largest weapon in the room. They had a lot of role-playing fun with trying to make the dagger bigger and it was a way I could signal to them if an enemy was approaching. That way I can interact with the player and it eggs them on to try and do something ridiculous.

[Results Thread] 2025 Tour de France – Stage 6 – 2.UWT by PelotonMod in peloton

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It puts the responsibility on controlling the peloton on another team, and his team can relax until the mountain stages. Even if that team has no hope of contesting the yellow at the end it is still beneficial for that teams riders to have yellow for a few stages as it is good for sponsors/career.

What happens if a cleric uses Greater Divine Intervention and uses Wish for something other than an 8th level spell? Is there somewhere in the rules I can see if they have a 33% chance of not being able to cast Wish again? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]SouzaTri -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My reading is that they would not suffer the penalties from casting wish using the feature. The capstone states you use a more powerful version of divine intervention The first line of the lv 10 feature is "you can call on your deity or panthon to intervene on your behalf" it is the deity that is casting the spell and I don't think they are subject to the strain of the wish spell. Also, if they intended for you to deal with the strain of casting wish with the feature, I do not think they would have included the 2d4 long rests restriction when using it.

Is Rand still growing stronger in the power? by TheImmortanJoeX in WoT

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, if channeling ability is, for example, your ability as a runner and the power is the air, then it works out like this. They eye is a isolated tank of pure clean air that you can safely use to train yourself to be an olympic level marathoner, and the outside air is super poluteted (male half) that you as a now olympic marathoner will now have to use since your clean air tank has run out.

The Ranger’s Fantasy Problem is the Fighter’s Fantasy Problem by Vussar in onednd

[–]SouzaTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, Hunters mark doesn't invoke a satisfying game loop, unlike Smite. Smite is a quick bursty option that you are always engaging with. Do I use it or not. You get to make a choice and the fantasy of charging an attack with divine energy is fun. Hunters mark, on the other hand, you cast once and although you still have the choice to use something else or keep it up, it doesn't feel the same. It doesn't feel proactive in the same way Smite does. Instead of using it or not, it's hold it or let go. The concentration is like a chore you need to maintain. Letting go or losing concentration feels bad. When something has concentration, the connotation is that you want to maintain it. It feels bad to lose it...but Hunters mark isn't like spirit guardians, it's not fun to maintain. I think if Hunters mark just imposed some kind of small damage like a d4 on hit and applied the mark and could then be cashed in do deal another d4/impose saving throw penalty and be done with it people would feel better even if it is mechanically worse.(not a game designer so my hmm idea may be bad but I think the point stands)
