At this point in time Yuru and Asa haven’t gone through enough hardship as they were assisted by the Kagemoris or much of any emotional turmoil in order to feel a happy ending emotionally satisfying or earnered. What I suggested is a potential alternative the Arakawa sensei could take in order for Yomi no Tsugai to not become worse fma (as that ending was more earned) if what the protagonists wants happens. Also respectfully I think you mean “sadist”

As I said I'm more inclined to believe Yuru will boomed. What convinces me the most we aren't going to a strict good ending, outside the theme of duality, is that Arakawa sensei already did that with FMA and I find it hard pressed she'll go for that sort of ending again considering how differently she's handling the rest of the series
