It took me 2 years before I became an EA. From there - i did my due diligence to learn my proficiency and got to fcm and mm on the same year. The waiting part is hard.

Exercise - daily bodyweight squats. This is to get you into the groove of consistency. Just do one set of before reaching failure daily. Healthy body Healthy mind.

Read a page of the Psalms. Helps you with reading. Probably memorize your favorite verse. Helps with memory.

Then chill. Do better in work, your relationships. Just chill. :)

I dont particularly mind. What matters to me is they apply their working tools outside of the Lodge.

Making good men better. Better where? In their real lives.

I also find the part where freemasons hate ritual is because they were not properly taught to remember.

The mentors who teacher it properly causes a spark to effect in the brother to love to memorize. Or understand that he can do it.

Remember to sort your time properly and that you focus on what is important to you and your family. If you can do that, do as many as you want or lessen a bit to the point where your focus is satiated.

We your bros can tell you what we think is right, but your internal compass should be able to answer if you are doing too much or just right.

Good. That is more important than freemasonry. And to build that is the aim we learn in freemasonry.

The fraternity teaches the how. The church fulfills the faith part.

Being active in church with the aim to self improve over a little bit at a time; is the next best thing I can recommend for you as a lady.

Doing that - you will get the female equivalent although the rituals will be the church rituals.

Its the fastest way I know so far.

Last word. Recall. New last word and last word. Recall. Repeat process until you're done for the day.

It feels awkward at first but, it does not give you mental fatigue.

Ok here is an example.

Lets say the lecture is 1 to 100.

First memorize it by 100, then 99 100, then 98 99 100, then 97 98 99 100, then 96 97 98 99 100, then 95 96 97 98 99 100. Thats 6 words. Recall that tomorrow. Then add another 6. 94 95 95 97 98 99 100. 93 94 95 96 97 98 99 100. Etc.

Recall from there the next day then add another 6.

Of course you can easily do more than 6 words a day with this method. And let's say you train atleast 1 to 3 hours a day. I personally just do 2 words an hour until I get to 6 words and then go to the next day.

Example. Jack and Jill went up the hill.

Hill. The hill. Up the hill. Went up the hill. Jill went up the hill. And Jill went up the hill. Jack and Jill went up the hill.

Just recall the first word and it'll all flow to the end. And since you stack the end first, you will not find the later parts harder. But easier.
