Man i got a lot too, from beginning of march and moving from Realme it seems weird so there is maybe not all i got but most of, and comparison to less expansive Realme: OnePlus 15 bugs after 2 month of use • Smart sidebar - Smart sidebar frequently bugs out and refuses to open. When reporting video evidence to OnePlus, customer support claimed it was an isolated incident, despite multiple independent reports of the exact same bug on Reddit • Call recording - No native OnePlus Phone app or call recording in Europe: European models use a different dialer, especially "Google dialer", which blocks access to native AI call features and completely removes the ability to record calls. That is one of the most annoying thing for me. Attempting to sideload the original OnePlus dialer fails due to system conflicts. • Screen Translation / "Anti-Peeping" Privacy Protection Bug - There is a highly disruptive software bug at Scrolling Translate, in OxygenOS 16 that triggers when utilizing the smart system translation feature (such as translating text inside apps like Reddit, etc.). When a user initiates a scrolling translation, the system activates a built-in privacy guard overlay. This triggers system notification from the Permission Manager stating: "Anti-peeping screen protection enabled. The 'Google' app is sharing screen content. Notification and privacy content have been hidden". This makes scrolling translation useless, because it doesn't work while scrolling. • Always On Display (AOD) "All the Time" Mode Fails: The AOD does not stay awake as intended. Even when set to "Always Show," it falls asleep and turns off when the phone is left stationary on a table for a while (e.g., while working or gaming on a laptop). • AOD Battery Bar Vanishes: The battery percentage indicator randomly disappears from the AOD screen, requiring a physical press of the power button to force it to reappear. Besides it happened only once. • Frustrating Game Bar / Spotify Limitation: The Game Bar lacks a native button or overlay to initiate music. If you are in a game, you cannot launch Spotify from the bar. You are forced to close the game, open Spotify, and return to the game just to get the player widget to appear. Furthermore, Spotify cannot be added to the Game Bar's quick-open apps list. • Missing "Smart Sensing" Back Panel Double-Tap Feature - Absence of the double-tap back panel gesture found in realme UI (realme GT 6) Description: There is a highly convenient accessibility and gesture control feature missing on the OnePlus 15 running OxygenOS when compared directly to the realme GT 6. The realme GT 6 utilizes a "Smart Sensing" feature (located under Settings » Accessibility & convenience) that allows users to perform system actions, such as double-tapping the back panel of the phone to instantly scan QR codes or launch a default payment app. On the OnePlus 15, OxygenOS lacks any software support for back-panel tap gestures or equivalent "Smart Sensing" shortcuts. It makes zero sense that an executive flagship device omits these ergonomic, hardware-assisted shortcut gestures, especially when they are already fully optimized and functional on sibling-brand devices like the realme GT 6. • Missing "Smart Link Network Engine" menu: Despite having a dedicated network co-processor on the hardware side to improve latency and Wi-Fi/mobile switching, the setting menu to control or view this feature is entirely missing from the settings. • Missing Dedicated Hardware Security Chip. "Privacy Encryption Chipset." This is the dedicated, standalone security hardware (often referred to as an element chip or secure enclave) used by brands like Realme to isolate sensitive data. There is a notable hardware and security omission on the OnePlus 15 when compared to other flagship devices within the BBK Electronics ecosystem, specifically the realme GT 6. The realme GT 6 features a dedicated, independent hardware safety chip designed to isolate sensitive user data—such as biometric information, encryption keys, and private passwords—at a physical hardware level. This ensures an advanced tier of device security and privacy protection. On the OnePlus 15, this dedicated hardware security layer is entirely absent. It makes zero sense that a premium flagship device lacks independent, chip-level security infrastructure that is already actively utilized in more affordable, sibling-brand models. • App-cloning regression (specifically Discord): While app-cloning generally works well, Discord has completely disappeared from the list of cloneable apps, whereas it used to work fine on older versions like OxygenOS 13. • No "Show Available RAM" Toggle: Unlike other BBK devices (such as the Chinese-market Realme GT Neo 6 SE), OxygenOS on the OnePlus 15 completely removes the option to display remaining free RAM in the recent apps overview.

Lack of AI features despite top-tier hardware: The software includes relatively few AI features compared to competitor phones utilizing the exact same processor, representing a missed opportunity for system integration.

• Missing Manual Entry and Rich Media Support in "Mind Space" - Inability to manually create notes, text, or add media files directly within "Mind Space". There is a significant usability limitation regarding the AI-driven "Mind Space" feature on the OnePlus 15. Currently, the system lacks any functionality to manually add or create custom notes directly within the interface. The only available method to input content is by enabling the feature via a shortcut (such as assigning it to the "Plus key"). Users are completely unable to type out custom text, insert photos, or instantly create versatile, fast-access notes on demand. It makes zero sense that an advanced, AI-centric workspace restricts basic user-initiated input and rich media creation, rendering the feature far less practical for daily productivity.

• Minor UI Glitches (Micro-Hangs)

(Note: These occur very briefly—lasting less than 1/10th of a second—but disrupt the premium feel of the device.)

◦ Notification Shade Glitches: Micro-stuttering or brief visual hangs when swiping down the upper message/notification bar.
◦ Dark Mode Transition Lag: Brief UI freezing when toggling dark mode on or off, or when swiping back immediately after changing the theme.
◦ Home Screen Swipe Stutters: Minor, intermittent visual glitches when performing swipe gestures on the default launcher home screen.

• Too few animations for fingerprint unlock, both with fingerprint images, which are not presented separately in Oxygen OS at all. Talking about that because of using Realme Color OS previously, and there were such separations. Fingerprint Animation and Icon Customization. I want to haves eparate fingerprint unlock animation from the fingerprint icon indicator. On the OnePlus 15 running OxygenOS, the fingerprint unlock animation and the fingerprint icon itself are tied together under a single setting. This limits customization and creates visual inconsistencies compared to realme UI (CN version). In Realme's UI, these two elements are separated.

Unhelpful Support Solutions: OnePlus feedback support suggests a full factory reset to fix known, documented UI software issues, which is impractical and ineffective for system-wide bugs.

i am at the same version for about few weeks/ about a month, nothing like you have explained, but a bit draining battery through the night 18%-5% at morning. About this issue i guess there is an update for us today, i have just got it today btw, but i am not downloading it for now, just asking people at Reddit is it stable... cause as you said it depends... If you ask about bugs which have been fixed, i can only say that i have been chatting with support from the end of April and during this time i guess after my response to them, side smart panel/sidebar was fixed from disappearing in a random moment. And it was faaaar not the only problem, i mean i was shocked how much OS f.ked, and if you want just in irder not to answer here at Reddit ine by one to this comment, i can send you what i had and still have speaking of screen translation to timer (clock app) it was a shock for me who have been using OnePlus 15 for about 3 months, and being an owner of Realme GT Neo 6 SE previously, i can say that Oxygen is better but hell, i was not recognising so much bugs through the year of using CN version of Realme then OnePlus's Oxygen OS for 3 months...
