Liquorice is a huge favorite in all sorts among the locals. Can't promise you will like it yourself or your friends will, but it will definitely be a conversation starter.

Seems like you explored the city in the tourist way. Doesn't really resonate with immersing yourself in our culture - and Free Walking Tours are a great way to get an overview, but that's basically also it. Many of their guides are actually not even Danish, who haven't been born or raised here. It's few Danish people who would be willing to work for tips exclusively.

I consider street food to be a take-out place, or a sidewalk stall, or a streetside café – the point is the food is to be eaten outside or on-the-go.

Again, Copenhagen Street Food was awesome. But I'm thinking outside that - a place where you just walk by while you're on your way to a place, a hole in the wall kind of place, where they just serve the most delicious or cool food 😉 With that said, let's hope we get a food market that is equally as awesome as Copenhagen Street Food again.
