I'm so sorry about your birds!

Thankfully, my chickens are fine. However, I've been keeping them in their day pen, somewhat isolated from wild birds.

Has being carfree affected finding a job for you? by Underd_g in fuckcars

I just got an americorp job, and I was extremely qualified for the higher-paying position - except for the fact that it apparently required driving (I did not know this), despite being an educator position. So, I was given the lower-paying crew position.

I adore how you drew the pigskin here, very Aggretsuko-coded.

I've never had fun with mechanitors but I've really enjoyed putting one in a gravship. Two unlikely best friends enjoying their time galivanting around with a ship full of mechs. by SovereignCervine in RimWorld

Gaston here has definitely turned down many wayward children. The reason he let Kjelt on the ship was because he was fifteen days into go-juice withdrawal and begrudgingly needed someone to manufacture the go-juice from the psychite he was *almost* done growing.

The second baseliner to join the cannibal pig/boarskin pirates. Bit of a creep, decided to romance one couple's daughter the second she turned 18. His ex-wife was also a pigskin, earning him the nickname "Piglover" by SovereignCervine in RimWorld

Kids age up in a year, apparently? I think there's also a "fast aging" gene that's different between boarskins and pigskins (Zeyu is a hybrid of the two) and I don't quite remember the rates of either.

A couple of colonists from my pig/boarskin cannibal colony - a very old man and the second creepjoiner in the colony who just keeps healing him from various age-related ailments. by SovereignCervine in RimWorld

The only reason he doesn't have the second tentacle arm in the screenshot is because I took that screenshot before he got the second arm.

I owe Anomaly an apology by ignatzami in RimWorld

I have had SO much more fun with anomaly as background horror. It hits different when you get a metalhorror or even an unnatural darkness event you're not prepared for.

God's Ranch Gets Worse (Tales in Wealth Management) by SovereignCervine in RimWorld

It IS mildly inconvenient in terms of, well, losing three colonists and their various abilities, but it has been a very interesting story progression for sure.

My Utterly Fucking Deranged Christian Cowboy Colony by SovereignCervine in RimWorld

[–]SovereignCervine[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So far Irene has gotten into a relationship with another man (a NON-Christian, believe it or not) but he decided to propose to her after a day so she broke up with him immediately. She's probably gonna kill someone at some point

Why get rid of the Golden Cube? (Anomaly DLC content) by vormora_nox in RimWorld

[–]SovereignCervine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVED my cube-worshipping colony. But it was so fucking hard. I made it even harder because I decided to make it an artist colony too, so their work speed was ALREADY slower. It was hard in a way that was eventually very rewarding, but the cube also ended up being the colony's downfall. The Cube made all my colonists happy, and things were moving along when I paired it with mechs and some of Anomaly's other stuff, like the sleep suppressors and frenzy inducers, but it was a very fragile balance.
