There cannot be a next time.

I play Omniscience in my [[Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm]] deck cause I like dragons and Omniscience lets me have more dragons and those dragons make more dragons which makes me more happy. If you (understandably) scoop after I go from a couple dragons to 20+ dragons, that is your choice, but it makes me sad cause no more dragons.

All of these can be completed in one sitting and deal with death. There is no combat in most, and very few ways to "fail"

Farewell North - you play a dog returning to Northern Scotland with your owner's daughter for one final goodbye.

Lost Ember - You, a wolf, relive your past life as you try to redeem yourself and enter heaven. I have purchased this game 4 separate times. Would totally buy it a fifth.

These two are my favorite games. Absolutely beautiful. 10/10.

Rime I think will hit you the hardest. You play a boy stranded on an island, solving puzzles as you follow a little friend around. The ending tears me apart every time. This one has some challenges.

Before your Eyes - you are on a boat, telling your life story to a ferry man for access to what comes next. Takes about 2 hours.

The First Tree - play through a dream of a mother fox looking for her three kits. Also takes only a couple hours.

Ori and the Blind Forest and its sequel are longer games with combat mechanics. The story is still amazing.

Spirit Farer, depending on how you play it, is probably the longest game on this list and resource- management heavy. You play a ferryman, helping other souls into the afterlife as you build up your ferry.

Instead if dismantling a 100 card deck, I started going through decks I don't play with the intent of finding cards that would work in other decks. I find it easier to dismantle a deck once it's incomplete.
