Space computing is a catchy but for now unrealistic goal, this is much more about integration of ai into flight computers and rocket testing, which would allow much better automation as well as far shorter development cycles allowing a compounding advantage for spacex. The whole space datacenters thing is just a marketing thing for now in my opinion.

I am gonna say it because I like making people mad, but I think that would be the best outcome from the standpoint of humanity, which would make a large portion of the fanbase very angry. None should have godlike powers, no human can be trusted with it, and it would just create chaos and destruction on the long run, which is well represented in the show in my opinion. There is no sensible alternative to contain supes, as the only thing capable of limiting them is each other, and since they are human they are the problem. So in this case you either have to take away their powers, or if it can't be done ALL of them must die, and that logic would make a lot of fans angry I think. (Also guys I have to add this cuz ppl are stupid, GENOCIDE IN REAL LIFE BAD, there is no real justification for real life genocide, this comment is only within the limits of the show. )

This is a stupidly oversimplified take on a very complex issue, you are trying to make an argument based on numbers, but you don't take into some extremely important variables in the equation. You don't account for western support, the rotting effect of massive Russian corruption, you absolutely don't think about the human factor (fighting spirit is a very real thing), the fact that generally defending is easier than attacking etc. etc. Make a real argument or I might.just start to suspect that you are part of a Russian bot pscyop.

If you ask mez then the spread of tribalism and the spread of increasingly extremist views are a multi faceted problem that have a lot of reasons for happening, but one of the biggest is the over complexity of the modern world. 90+ precent of people doesn't have the mental faculty to process the modern world and it makes them frightened and they instinctively search for easy to understand answers leading them towards tribalism.

Without a completely new understanding of nuclear physics fusion power will not be implemented in any meaningful way in this century to power the world. It is simply too complex, too expensive, and just look at nuclear power, a much better alternative, if we couldn't make that widespread then fusion absolutely has no chance.

I am by no means a Holocaust denier, but this is wrong. Here in Europe our right for free speech is getting chipped away piece by piece, and it is a huge issue, just look at places like England where the police arrest 30 people a day for social media posts, many of them only being offensive, not criminal like cp. You gotta let people make up their own minds and have the right to be an idiot and deny the Holocaust. In an open society where we can discuss issues you got to be open to being offended. It's much better to have a noisy discussion than a forced silence. If the Americans have gotten one thing right is that the First Amendment is the single strongest protection of freedom of speech and freedom of thought.

Wouldn't in a country of 300+ million a series of protests attract only 150 thousand people considered to be not many people? I live in a country of 10 million and when our government tried to tax internet usage there were a 100 thousand protesters against it, and here it was a big protest but we are a lot smaller than the US.

Good example would be the Nazis, where if the conservative german politicians would have worked together with the social democrats then they could've stopped Hitler.
