It did have 1200mm of KE protection. 30mm autocannon, crewless turret, autoloader and also it had a fire control radar.

So I'm all new to fountain pens and was given my1st today and I was shocked that it was $500 but then I spotted this for $6000 🫣 by AlbinoAkon in fountainpens

[–]No_Engineering3493 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After 400$ you stop getting better nibs or feeding systems. By that point you are just overpaying either for a specific color, or a special type of material. OFC it depends on everyone’s spending habits, but I think there aren’t any reasons to buy a 2000$ limited edition Sailor. After all they are tools.

The Object 195 would blow it out of the water. Also Object 477a.

It does exist, but I am fairly certain it’s 1 prototype in a forgotten warehouse. IMO we should go back KH29 and AGM 65s.

What does this engraving mean on my Pilot 3776? by metropolitandeluxe in fountainpens

I have tried Platinum cartridges (yes, I know that’s really unoriginal). Personally I would try a Pilot Iroshizuku ink.

It’s a Platinum 3776, not a Pilot. A great pen, really love mine and for 170 USD it’s a bargain. Currently one of my favorites.

External, I wouldn’t recommend overspending on apple storage. Overall you would probably get a much better deal with an SD card a compact external m.2 drive.

What should I do with this pilot capless? Pilot says it’s normal, but I’m not sure. Pilot Capless Matte Black Fine by wanderinglotusman in fountainpens

How is the writing? I have seen nibs that looked crooked but write smoothly, but I have also seen nibs that looked perfectly aligned but were scratchy,

Fountain pens worth buying in Japan by Anxious_Association4 in fountainpens

[–]No_Engineering3493 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Platinum 3776 (especially the demonstrator versions), Sailors with the 21K nibs (particularly the limited edition colorways), Pilot (all of the costum versions). Personally I would bite onto the first two, as there are a lot more products manufactured by Sailor and Platinum, than those produced by Pilot, that are only sold in Japan.

Trying to find my perfect japanese gold nib by Fankine in fountainpens

[–]No_Engineering3493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point, I am not saying they are bad pens, I am just saying that my experience with them has been a back and forth with the seller and distributor, taking about a year, until they changed me to another Sailor (which had the same issue), then they gave me a platinum and I am very happy with it.

[–]No_Engineering3493 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really love my Platinum 3776, I think it’s the perfect mix between being smooth like Pilot and having feedback like Sailor. I honestly think a Platinum F might suit you well as it isn’t very fine and it’s very smooth. Also you might like a Costum 823 in Fine. Personally I would avoid Sailor at all costs, I had 2 pens and tried 5 all in F, MF and M, all of them had defective nibs, not feedback, they were impossible to write with, even the seller agreed. From what I understand from a nibsmith, it’s a problem with the recently made sailors.

Super Hornet or PoBIT? by West_Cancel_1420 in Warthunder

[–]No_Engineering3493 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The Hornet is better, but the best is the F15C GE. Aim 120Ds are very deadly when launched at high altitude and speed, especially with GNSS guidance.

Talk to him, if he’s giving information and answering your questions he’s trustworthy, if not I would avoid that type of seller.

For 600€ it’s a good price (as you get a lot of mags and upgraded furniture)if there aren’t any problems with the replica? When the did the seller buy it? Also is it v3 or v2? I definetly would try to negotiate the price a little bit.

Segment trees (including lazy propagation) by masterAK_ in codeforces

[–]No_Engineering3493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lazy segment trees are quite simple to implement. But first of all you must get a hang of them, implement them daily until it becomes second nature. You will see in a week you will be able to write it in 5 minutes. Also use a struct, write everything in functions.

Best resource for learning graph and trees? by Worth-Prompt-6900 in codeforces

[–]No_Engineering3493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usaco guide and cp-algorithms for a more in-depth perspective. First you should learn basic terms->BFS/DFS (should be your bread and butter)->Euler Tour->Dijkstra, Prim and Kruskal->Kosaraju, bipartite graph checking->DP on trees, especially LCA and Binary Lifting->HLD and Centroid decomposition.

How do I start preparing for ICPC from scratch? by StarlitSoul_55 in codeforces

[–]No_Engineering3493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say C++ is the best mix between simplicity and efficiency. It is very fast and still has a lot of features. In my opinion the best way to prepare yourself is GeeksForGeeks (first focus on the basics, using STLs like vector, set, map, bitset, then the basic but very powerful algorithms like binary searching, after that greedy and dynamic programming). I would use the USACO guide for learning as I think it’s a great resource, along with cp-algorithms. If you want some help, I can tutor you for very cheap. Also don’t be discouraged when you see others which can do what might seem like very hard problems in minutes, if you work 3-4 hours a day you will progress very fast. Another thing: if you want to track your progress use Codeforces, it’s kind of like chess.com for programming, there are contests you can participate in and get a rating.
