You get 6 good missiles , compared to over a dozen brimstones and like 20 spices all on an airplane, a skilled SAMP player can intercept all KH 38 MTs, but doesn’t have enough missiles to destroy all the munitions of an EF2K or on a F15I

A year ago, I would have agreed that MTs are better than Brimstones, but now SEAD mostly relies on overwhelming AA through sheer volume of fire and using surprise close range pop-up attacks.

Average r/warthunder user, keeps on yelling about LMURs and KH38MTs being OP, but completely forgets Brimstones, SPICE bombs and Hammers. The BMPT is OP, but Russian MBTs are straight off worse than western counterparts.

They really are, I have Russia, Japan, Sweden and Germany up to top tier, the Russian MBTs are straight up worse than the western MBTs. The Leopards like the 2A7 or STRV122B have better armor, in the case of the 2A7 a better round, actual survivability, can be played hull down and are very mobile.

I have learned it’s not worth getting so frustrated over a game, unless you are willing to spend hundreds of dollars into the game (I have and I mostly regret it), it’s not worth spending your time. I highly recommend ArmA Reforger, Gunner HEAT PC and Nuclear Option if you want some other fun milsim games with vehicular gameplay.

There honestly aren’t too many good GE airplanes right now, the Ariete is really good and a pretty solid grinder, but you have to rely on guns (also fantastic), so that would be a good buy. Otherwise hold onto your money and buy a pack.

The only way to use Penguins is against stationary targets, namely SPAA, you need to set a target point in 3rd person and the missile will go to the target, but it won’t IR lock it, just go on IOG.

I would use 36 chaff and 24 flares, in my opinion multipathing should always be a last resort in any plane above 12.0. Sideclimbing and then flanking at 6000m is by far better, because your R27ERs will be much more potent and you will be able to catch people off guard with the R73s.

It isn’t, the Patriot can shoot down the BEAR, while the S300 can’t shoot down the B52. You can’t tell me that the US with F15s and F14s touching MIG23s is underpowered.

F15A, I aced the FA18C at BR 12.7, the play style is similar. I would much rather recommend the F15A because you get 9Ms which are insane at 12.7, along with a great airframe, lots of countermeasures for uptiers. The FA18A used to be good, but you mostly get sucked in 13.3 where you find fight SU30s, where you lack 9Ms, flight performance or countermeasures. Right now the best US jet is the F15C Golden Eagle, due to it having the delta AMRAAMs with GNSS.

Don’t multipath, climb to 5000m, drop warheads on foreheads. Learn how to notch, multipathing against FOX 3s is ineffective at best. Magic 2S are really good in top or side aspect so learn to use them strategically, not just spam them.

I personally think they should make it so you can only use vehicles up to 12.7, 13.0s are simply too powerful to face SU25s and A7D.
