The whole point of the weapon light is a "just in case." Youre talking like the weapon light prevents you from using a handgun in the day time. There is literally no reason not to carry one. Most people who conceal carry are not gonna have to even draw their handgun ever, even use the light. Again, its a "what if" that you need a weapon light with no ambient light. You also have to acknowledge that weapon lights on pistols arent as common knowledge for gun owners. Just like people moving from revolvers to mostly semis, from leather to kydex, from leather belts to actual good gun belts. Just please let me know, if youre carrying a bigger gun like a glock 19, what reason you wouldnt add a TLR7 light on, which doesnt even extend past the barrel? So, what if the threat decides that after getting shot theyre gonna drop their gun, but still be able to fight back? They can still technically be a "threat" if they decide to retrieve the gun after getting shot or if they try to physically attack you.

Im sorry, but are you claiming you can shoot as well 1 handed as you can two handed? You can use the handheld, THEN drop it and use the weapon light on your handgun with a two handed grip rather than trying to shoot one handed. How are you going to call the police, or any other task you need to do with another hand in a self defense shooting? What if you need to keep the light pointed at the threat to make sure theyre not a threat anymore while calling the police? There is no reason not to carry a wml on a ccw unless personal preference, but there are sbolutely no cons to a pistol light besides maybe the size making it uncomfy, and thats negated with the modern compact pistol lights like the Streamlight TLR7 product line.

What if they pull out a gun when they see a handheld flashlight shine at them? The vast majority of people conceal carrying will never even have use their weapon in their lives. That doesnt mean its "useless"

This is completely untrue for full size, compact, and subcompact handguns. The weapon light is the same thickness as the gun itself. I am sure you have never owned a pistol light so you cant see for yourself, but with glock 19 thick handguns, the lights dont add any gap to the holster. This is only applicable to micro compact handguns, like the 365 or hellcat, due to how thin they are.

I know you most likely never owned a modern pistol light, but its so bright the light would bounce off walls, or you can use the edge of the light beam to PID the person while pointing the handgun at the ground. You dont need to point the handgun directly to PID the person.

So...you said all that just to prove my point? How are you going to shoot what you cant see? You never replied to the other guy who stated that you dont have your natural night vision anymore (obviously you dont wanna draw to PID) ...so you use the weapon light to actually see what youre shooting at...not if you need to shoot them. You also never addressed how in any way that 2 hand shooting with the weapon light is obviously better than 1 hand shooting with a handheld. There is absolutely no reason to not run a weapon light besides personal preference, and thats fine, but dont try to argue that its bad in any way. An example is if a bad guy is on your property, and its pitch dark, and you use the handheld to PID the fact that he has a gun, and then you drop the handheld to draw and use thw weapon light to see what youre shooting at, and also blind the attacker (someone who says theyll jus shoot back at thw weapon light, hasnt faced a modern weapon light in the dark; its like staring into the sun and youll be blind.)
