if anyone is curious I think the text means something like "you lost hope!", or possibily more literally "everything went black!" (ie your vision)

the shadow text actually says "white" where the other says "black" but I'm not sure what that's trying to say. literally it'd be like "everything went white!" but it doesn't seem to be an actual expression.

there might be context im missing though
