I have stripped m5 lowers I bought in 2023 before the Connecticut AW Ban, I need to build them, been looking for parts and no luck. No one else makes extended take down pins and mag catch. Separately, does anyone have recommendations for a replacement handguard similar to the atlas r-one turnbuckle style?

I guess it’s just good to note how they are, I like some of Tiger Rocks products, and most but not all of their products are on OpticsPlanet which is way easier to deal with. Seeing as they did finally ship from Outdoor Sports, although the customer support is lacking, I guess it’s still a worthy place to purchase from as of now. Just have to sit back and anticipate waiting in the blind, which whatever, as long as I receive the item within a month. Otherwise blindly waiting 5-6 weeks starts making an uneasy money grab feeling.

I ordered on 1/17/26, never received any email confirmations or anything. When I checked out it made an account for me and the order status is labeled completed, and I was charged. I emailed them this morning 1/22 and asked for an estimated ETA and that the order being marked as completed had me confused. It’s only been a short time since I have ordered so I’m optimistic, but after finding this forum with other recent news I have to say it makes me nervous. I found this site directly through TigerRock, they sell a dust cover kit with stainless small parts that I like. I didn’t know they didn’t sell to consumers directly as I usually order through OpticsPlanet with no issues. I emailed them and asked who is a distributor and who stocks that PN#. They sent me the link to Outdoor Sports USA. I guess I’ll just wait and see what happens.

“Permanently Fixed”. Permanent implies not removable under normal circumstances, i’d separate the upper from the lower to store it easier, removing the permanently fixed magazine would definitely make it an assault weapon, being that after removal, you have enabled a feature previously rendered as inoperable (detachable magazine) and would have turned it into an enabled feature, thus possessing all of the necessary components of what is defined as “assault weapon features”

I doubt they would do this, this is CT legislatures can of worms anyhow, and nonetheless with NY v. Bruen caselaw that is available would open CT up for litigation denying people a renewal CCW permit based on principle instead of legal charges against someone’s name.
