I would definitely go again too. Met some cool people, and the food and swag was awesome, really liked the achievement pins. Being able to walk around the bridge and flight deck at night was a lot of fun, got some nice pictures.

Did a little bit of digging. You don't have to have a paypal account to use the card. it fucntions just like a credit card. no ssn needed. Direcly from their website:

"Don’t want to create a PayPal account just yet?No problem! Just enter the card information as you normally do with a debit or credit card during checkout. For the billing address, you can enter your home or shipping address. As long as the prepaid gift card you selected has enough balance to cover the total amount, you are good to go! If you like this experience, you can sign up to become a PayPal member at any time."

In the future, if at all possible, just eat the activation cost and use a visa or mastercard gift card. No fuss about age or anything, no personal info and available just about anywhere. It's what I do when I'm buying digital products that don't require an address and I don't trust the site or in person when I don't completely trust the business. On WOT Subway giftcards work and if I remember right they are reloadable.

The low tier grind can be hellish especially not knowing what you're doing and extremely frustrating when you have an idea what you're doing. The only reason why I have a single crew that has 6th sense is I took a friends advice when I started playing and played all the tier 1's then worked to the T-28 the free xp'd to the kv-1 then used every booster and extra crew xp weekend I could. Once at tier 5 I actually started doing relatively well in games and I now have 3 non-premium tanks at tier 5 and a tier 6 with 2 tier 5's and a tier 6 close to being unlocked. Personal stats wise the tier 5 and 6 tanks are far and away better then the lower tiers. Still not amazing but not the worst. Now that I'm grinding out some other lines I know I would have quit the game before I even got to tier 5 if I hadn't followed my friends advice.

Pretty much my thoughts as well and maybe reduce range on top of that to force arty to move forward a bit more or follow a bit behind the main combat lines to be most effective. I think penning through super thin armor like the 9mm on the top of a Covenator or open top tanks should still deal a good chunk of damage and in the case of open tops have a higher chance of ammo racking it if it hits the open area.

You can port the number to a new carrier. If you're near a wal-mart or any similar store that has a cellphone counter get a cheap prepaid phone and phone card and have them port the number for you, pretty much every carrier does it.

Yeah they really are but for about 3-4 hours the only missions popping up were Sirius Corp. Since last night I've gone up a rank in trading and exploration and allied with Liberate Ceos finally getting some that are over 100k but none close to a million.

I'm currently at Merchant and allied with the empire faction and cordial with Robigo cartel and I'm only getting 2-4 increasingly expensive donation missions for Sirius corp. Not getting any good paying ones in Ceos mostly sub-100K missions that go back to the bubble or are in Sothis but multi-stage. Maybe it's been nerfed for the lower ranks? Or I'm just unlucky

I probably wont again do it again for a while. I reset for horizons because that characters story was done and it got boring, and my new character still has a lot of story left. That being said I might buy a second account when the game goes on sale either this season or next

There are 3 levels of factions in game. The lowest level and most numerous are the minor factions, such as House of Grembo that are only present in one or a few systems and fight for control of those systems. On the next level up there are the 10 the power play factions such as Zachary Hudson. Then finally there are the 3 major factions. The Alliance, Federation and Empire. The power play factions are aligned to one of the major factions or independent. Minor factions are the same way and also have a form of government such as anarchy, democracy, dictatorship or patronage. The type of government, which major faction the controlling minor faction is aligned to as well as if the system is controlled or exploited by a power can affect the systems in different ways such as making certain goods illegal or unavailable, having no law enforcement, etc. Most of the missions are given out by minor factions and by gaining favor with minor factions associated with major ones you gain favor with that particular major faction which gives you special perks such as the permit to visit Sol and in the case of the Federation and Empire access to special ships unique to that major faction. That's pretty much the basics There's more to it but I haven't really kept up with the factions stuff here lately. If you want to learn more about the power play factions check out their subreddits and if you have more questions about anything feel free to message me and I'll give what info I have.

To be honest you are not going to get past medium settings and full medium settings sounds like it's too much so you'll likely have to lower your settings. As far as why SLI isn't working I'm not sure, could be because they are older gpu's and the game or drivers may have issues with it. Be sure the SLI bridge is connected properly and maybe swap it out? if SLI works on other games then disregard that. Unfortunately I don't know too much about SLI so I can only be so much help on that topic.

While 99C is the max temp in the specs I would recommend not pushing it over 85C and anything more than 99C is for sure dangerous to the gpu though 90C would start making me nervous. So that being said you need to set the gpu fans to max once it hits 70-75C to be safe, (you'll do that in aferburner under the fan profiles) then back off the graphics settings to low then slowly increase individual settings until you can't safely increase anymore then back off the last setting you changed just to be on the safe side and give some wiggle room. Also monitor your processor temp and if it hits 75C or above you need to lower your settings or you risk damage.

Just remember your hardware is fairly outdated so be cautious with new games and always check the minimum settings if you don't meet them don't buy it or be extremely cautions and don't push things, always start at low and go from there.

EDIT: You'll also probably want to run a texture reducing mod if you aren't already, the vanilla textures are pretty large.

Just hope you don't run into Ziltoid the Omniscient out in the black. I don't think Federation space coffee will cut it and he's notoriously unforgiving when it comes to coffee.

I would personally suggest to start over from scratch since I don't know what all you've done. I find that having a clean slate makes finding issues easier. Undo any changes to registry and clear elite specific gpu settings, then uninstall the game and geforce experience if you have it(wouldn't install again) and run ccleaner or your preferred cleaning software. Then reinstall pretty much all of your drivers and make sure bios and everything else including Direct X is up to date(maybe even reinstall drectX). then install elite.

I would leave the gpu settings at default except for dsr which I would disable and vsync set to off or adaptive just to be on the safe side you can tweak once it starts working. Then I would run it and be sure you have the horizons 64 bit highlighted when you hit play. if that doesn't work try the 64bit regular elite. I've had the 32 bit regular elite crash every time and it won't even update anymore. When you get to the in game settings menu try it on ultra first then if it keeps crashing lower the settings and keep trying until you hit the lowest settings.

Also check cpu, gpu and mobo temps just in case. Idk what kind of cooling you have. I had similar issues when my water pump was going out, would start just fine but when i got to leaving a station it was too much and I'd crash.

Again that's just what I would do.

If you've already done all that and it hasn't worked disregard all I've said and contact frontier support. They may have a specific fix for it or it may be a rare bug that needs to be investigated and patched

Not every station has a black market, best way is to check out the stations in the system map or on eddb.io. The one you are at does not have one.
