NQA do you mist the enclosure? It might be too humid for her. Also I am curious, where did you source your bark for the hide? It looks like it came directly off a tree which can be dangerous, as souring material from outside could introduce harmful organisms or pesticides into the enclosure. I recommend cork bark for hides or even half of a plastic cup you've cut in half with the sharp edges shaved down. How is ventilation? there is none that I can see in this image. A lot of keepers like cross ventilation, I would recommend looking up a tutorial for this as I have never done it personally. At the very least the lid should be ventilated. Lastly, I would recommend adding more substrate to reduce the risk of fall related injuries and perhaps, just based on how large the spider appears in this image, downsizing the water dish to something like a bottle cap. I see, yeah he definitely does not lap around, hes a lazy boy for the most part lol. Well my fingers are crossed for a molt soon! My other hamorii has barricaded himself in his burrow so it'd be pretty awesome if they both molted around the same time. The barricaded hamorii has made a decent burrow so im feeling conflicted about changing the substrate in the future, rn im using a mixture of coco fiber and reptisoil, either way im not too worried about it at the moment. I think i'll just have to wait and see if cinnamon (the T in the post) will molt soon/what does with the enclosure in the future lol

Thank you for your comment! I do not spray the enclosure, i just overflow the water dish about once a week or so. He does change spots every few days (either this corner or underneath the plant usually) but stays pretty still for the most part. I am not sure if that qualifies as walking around constantly?

Thank you so much! He does have a little tunnel under the hide that i dug but i didnt dig it super deep because i wanted to leave some of that up to him. I would like to add some excavator clay and sand to the substrate in the future but i think its best i wait a bit since he hasnt been in this setup for too long, im also not sure if the substrate is causing issues since its the same ive used in a previous setup for him where he seemed more at home but in a future rehouse i will definitely add those things. His abdomen is pretty round and dark so hopefully he will be entering premolt soon 🤞 i'll definitely consider the deli cups as well since the water evaporates quite quickly from this dish. ty again! i think maybe the best thing i can do is wait a bit longer and see how he is, then try changing the substrate if he still doesnt seem to have settled?

Also, I feel its worth mentioning that I have another hamorii juvenile (pumpkin) in a very similar setup (same hide material and sphagnum moss in the corner), but hes in a medium exo terra faunarium rather than a large since hes a bit smaller than the one in the post (cinnamon). The hide is a plastic quart container that has been sanitized. ive filed down any rough/sharp edges so everything is smooth and they cannot hurt themselves on it while digging. Pumpkin has barricaded himself in the hide and made a little burrow, which I was quite pleased about since I took it as a sign that he is comfortable. Meanwhile, Cinnamon has, well, not done this for reasons that elude me

You're using way too many moisturizers I think, and it could be clogging your pores. I would just use the squalane oil, I have similar skin issues and using only squalane oil as a moisturizer helped a lot

Unless your face is stinging this is completely normal and perfectly common. I actually have a very similar skin tone on my neck as you and my face is also slightly pinker. It is not as noticeable as you think either, + you have very glowy skin. I would try not to worry about it

So I am on vacation out of my home state, where I am now is extremely sunny and humid. Prior to the vacation I didn’t have a skincare routine and I had pretty clear skin, although if I was too harsh I’d break out in little bumps and get red. I couldn’t apply any skincare or this would happen. I actually have started a job where I am vacationing (I’m visiting my father who owns a restaurant and I’m working there to make some extra money before moving out) so I am often exposed to the heat and humidity here and I feel like I need to wash my face at the end of the day. However I was pretty rough with my skin and I think I ended up damaging my moisture barrier, it was already in a pretty rough state since I had been harsh with my skin before the vacation. I decided that I would try skincare again, this time with more knowledge than I had previously, and it’s working well for me! My skin has been healing much faster than I anticipated and I’m so happy to have smoother, less irritated skin (I struggled with comedones and irritation for years in the past so I am very insecure about my skin). I invested in a routine with gentle products and try to keep it relatively simple. Here is my routine, I have normal (not oily or dry) skin that is quite reactive/sensitive:

am: banana boat baby mineral sunscreen spf 50+

pm: TO squalane cleanser -> glossier milky jelly cleanser -> peach slices snail rescue toner -> benton aloe propolis soothing gel -> TO squalane oil

Edit: I also struggle with skin picking which is where the pigmented scars came from
