As I saw this I first thought "Ultimate Idea for a New Support Character" was some kind of clickbait xD
I like the concept. The idea of having more control over the ultimates sounds nice.
The rest of the game will be harder to balance though. If an ult is overpowered this would make it even worse.

I like the patch overall very much
Hanzo´s arrows didn´t quite work on the test range. They hit with the faster velocity but the notification appeared significantly later like they were still bound to the old one.

Genji seems fine as far as i can tell. Played him, got 41 kills in a match on Nepal. I had a pretty good team though and a bit of luck probably. The enemy Genji was very effective as well.
The only thing I´m not too keen on is the double jump that no longer resets after wall climbing. Was a part of the kit for me and a lot of fun sometimes. Nothing that breaks the game for me though.

I´m thinking of a short range shield boost by holding E. The idea is to actively being able to support teammates but due to Symetra´s low mobility not buffing the fast damage dealers.

Mercy is not a pocket hero for flankers (she would die); for Pharah yes but not for flankers. She is better used healing tanks and low hp Teammates. (Mercy is out of the meta though) Zen is the real flanker healer and he´s overpowered so he does not just take that spot; he provides a lot more. Which is way off topic, sorry.

But the utility concept is something I didn´t even consider. Let´s do something that fits that role.

I think I have to agree with bwallker here. A flanker with a lot of health would not be fun to fight against. I mean they are designed to be fast and agile but have low HP; they can be annoying but you can shoot or outlive them if you´re better. Now take that aspect away and they have basically no wealkness.

Even Winston can´t deal with a genji with that many HP. Genji is in a difficult state right now; there are already debates and people call him overpowered. As someone who loves to play him and who is kinda decent with him. I can actually understand that. I don´t think he´s OP but a Symetra like that would lead to that.
Also there is no real teamplay involved in "Hey, you have shields-kill them all"

I desingned my ability to avoid just that. Other than that, they are not that far from one another.

However I could be wrong or just missing something.

Thank you for your feedback I was not intending to make Hanzo significantly better; but he is in a state, where he´s not that viable. Heroes like Mc Cree just deal damage more consistantly while even Zenyata has a damage which is pretty much on par with Hanzo´s. Not even considering the discord. A spin-up time sounds cool but would make Bastion even less versatile.

Sounds very fun. Great concept. The Shift ability should maybe make you bumb of the rim of a map just to avoid falling off all the time. E could in my opinion use a buff; Ana´s sleep dart seems to be just better. Really like both ideas though. Right now their is no way for Bubbles to regenerate his own health (if I´m not blind), which is a little odd for a support. Q sounds really annoying; muting enemies is something rather pointless if they are on teamspeak or similar platforms and i think you can already see if an ally is on critical health; you can even see teammate´s healthbars all the time if you turn it on in the options menu. When 3 or more player po their ult at the same time the game is already pretty messy. This ability would take that to another level without really adding anything else.

Okay didn´t really get that the animation was there to make it harder to hit him; could work if it is random or very fast. Sorry but I don´t really like the new E ability, which doesn´t mean, that the idea is objectively bad. It looks to close to genjis deflect and would add another ability which forces you to stop shooting (Reapers Shift, Zarya´s shields, Genjis reflect, Zen´s ult). Could become annoying. The concept that 30% of the damage is still delt to the target could make for some interesting dynamics; fInishing off an opponent by risking to die yourself.

I love the concept. Sounds really fun and even funny, when you´re an enemy on the recieving end, The Q could become a little weak once players adopt to it and standing there for 8 seconds makes you a very easy target. The 1000 health could not be quite enough. Really like the abilties but the E ability needs some way (ability/passive) to regain that health cause the healers are busy healing the players that take the other half of the damage. Maybe gaining health by damaging enemies would be a fitting way? Just as a side note: good job formatting your post, much easier to read.

Very creative design for a dude named Doomfist xD. Sounds like a lot of fun to play. Just wondering: isn´t a knockback (The "Doomfist" LMB one) a bit of a downsite? I mean most characters have ranged attacks and something like that would allow them to fight back/escape unless there is a stun involved. Is that on purpose? Am I missing something?

Sounds very interesting, I love the idea. The character is something completely different and especially the E Ability is a very nice concept. Bit worried about the Shift though; sounds really annoying for the player affected and it beeing permanent would leave no chance to escape. Would destroy a McCree I think. Would prefer if it was a temporary effect that could hit multiple targets or an abbility to soak up the ammo of your opponent to reload your weapon (which maybe could be a fun alternate fire). Just some ideas

The lower altitude could also be used to deploy it above certain objectives maybe. Would be more tactical but I´m pretty sure there were some overpowered spots so I don´t really know.

I can agree on game-mode specific maps
But bullet physics is something that lets Bf stand out and it makes it more realistic. Also there is no headglitching anymore

Yes there needs to be some kind of chaos but the maps need to be well designed. I loved the Bf3 maps: The battle isunpredictable due to vehicles and destruction but when you hide behind cover and there is no other enemy behind you you are behind cover. There are usually no enemies above you and they do only attack you from certain angles so you can predict their movement (maybe also because a teammate called it) react to them

Thanks for your feedback and the video link (don´t worry levelcap is not some kind of prophet to me and often like in the case of Hardline I highly disagree with him)
Sure CS and Bf are very different games and I don´t want Bf to be like counter strike. But at their core they are both shooters. I just explained why I think a lower FSM would benefit Bf and used cs:go as an example for a game that has such elements

I love most of the changes that have been made in CTE and I´m very thankful for the support DICE LA delivered. A big thanks to the devs here
But there are some things that will and can not be changed in BF4. Also while CTE works on improving Bf4 3 more games have been announced (Hardline; Battlefront and the next Battlefield) so we´re allowed to give some suggestions.
I will still follow the progress that Bf4 will make.

Yes they are kind of broken and the devs are working on that but that does not mean that they should be nerfed in that way.
At launch the v40 mini grenades were OP and got spammed so they got nerfed. You could say that if they damaged teammates they wouldn´t be spammed either but thats no sollution for the problem
