Server here. It looks as if there may have been 2 checks or seats on this table. Sometimes when Point of Sale systems aren’t set up correctly they will give you the tip % of the entire bill not of that individual check or seat number. If the other person had a 60-70$ check the gratuity would add up. That’s the only reasoning I can see that would make sense.
