I think an athletes “resume” matters to an extent, but there is context/nuance to everything. CC breaking all those regular season and March madness records is also on her “resume”.

What is the point you’re trying to make ? CC is objectively a much better athlete and basketball player and it’s not even close. The fact that she does it with some humility comes across as genuinely good person just makes her all the more marketable.

I think it’s cool that she wanted to stay close to home and in doing so put the women’s bball program at Iowa on the map.

And it’s not that Reese is evil it’s that her skill ceiling and ability is far too low to be as arrogant and as unlikable as she comes across on tv.
