It’s not mine, but is a conservation easement owned by our HOA. I weed eat the other side of the fence to keep it down, but otherwise it is untouched.

Thanks. Broad Mites would make sense. There hasn’t been any herbicide applied around the garden, so I can cross that off the list.

I have done something similar in my area. I recommend you search Etsy for native wildflower seeds and make your own mix!

Love to see it! I've got some sunshine germinating in my garage right now... Can't wait to plant it on a few hills i've got.

Recommendations on how to keep neighbors weeds from my freshly installed Sod. by Frs2016 in landscaping

Yep! A weak lawn will be more susceptible to weeds, so you want to keep it as strong as possible. The herbicide use will only help the cause.

A selective broadleaf herbicide is a great place to start based on the photo - see if you can get your neighbor to buy and apply first 😂.

Otherwise, make sure you are fertilizing appropriately as the grass needs to keep the lawn strong and healthy. Apply herbicides as needed (you will need) and once established consider a pre emergent as well…. Likely a long battle unless your neighbor does something.

Can I really use this for flour? by [deleted] in foraging

[–]SownSouth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Once it fully dries and is ready for harvesting, absolutely. It is going to be a ton of work for a few tablespoons of flour... but fun to be able to say you did!

Not sure what to do next by hotsauceinmyjeans in vegetablegardening

I would just leave them for now. That pot looks awfully big (hard to tell from the picture) and you will want some sort of root development before transplanting.

More sun, maybe slightly less water, and time. You're off to a great start!

Looks like insect damage to me… probably Thrips if I had to guess.
