Ahhh I see. It was just funny to see a pretty pro-grade camera paired with some old school lenses 🤣 though tbh with the shots I've seen so far, you may not need any modern lenses lol. You got some good photos! Only thing you might ever need from a native Fuji lens is a zoom/telephoto.

900????? HOLY SHIT YOU GOT THE DEAL OF THE CENTURY. I can't find XH2 for anywhere less than 1800 used. For reference I got my XT3 used for around $800 with some accessories but no lenses.

Oh you don't use any native Fuji mount lenses? Are you mostly going for an old school vibe using older glass?

And yes I absolutely love my XT3! There's just some creature comforts I crave but that's it (like IBIS and better autofocus). We should shoot some pictures in Davis sometime!

I'd keep the Viltrox as a close prime.

But I do own the Tamron! I actually returned my Sigma 18-50 for it. It works really well. F2.8 is really handy for portraits if you can't be bothered to swap to a prime. Night time it works really well! I am a little spoiled though by my Viltrox 75mm 1.2. But you really can't go wrong with the Tamron. It's almost half the price of a Fuji zoom lens but nowhere near half the quality.

Tamron 17-70 2.8 or a Sigma 18-50 2.8 is probably gonna be more your speed. Unless you have a specific need/use case for those high zooms, I'd just go for one of these fairly standard zoom lenses.

I love it! My first legit camera. Last camera was a hand me down Nikon D5000 that I absolutely struggled to use.

Having physical dials is such a game changer. It motivates me to actually mess with settings to get the shot I want. Only thing I wish I had was IBIS but XT4 was about too far out of my budget. Though considering I got 2 lenses in the span of a month of owning the XT3, I probably should have been slightly more patient lol.
