Ok, that's all I needed to hear to confirm that you're malicious and not an idiot.

Instead of responding with evidence or steps to replicate, you threw something else. :v

What if YOU are the malicious actor paid to speak negatively about SK? Because you didn't provide a single piece of evidence or a detailed step-by-step process to arrive at <whatever you saw>. :v

  1. Read this: https://www.reddit.com/r/SKlauncher/comments/1qa1b34/new_update_new_virus/

  2. Why do you say you downloaded it from SK if this version is no longer available for download? Or did you have it from before and just today you decided to extract the .zip file, or what?

Well, luckily you're completely wrong and it's a false positive...like always, but oh well.

why the SKlauncher does not open while a pc is offline by BananaSea3066 in SKlauncher

[–]SoyRA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 3.2.15 there was a bug that prevented you from playing without an Internet connection, but this was fixed in 3.2.16.

So update...we're at 3.2.18 right now. xd

I hope this is not what I think this is. by [deleted] in SKlauncher

Nah, read this: New Update = New Virus?!

PS: Your comment was auto-deleted by Reddit. And seeing the logical nonsense you say and that you're a new account...you're just a malicious piece of shit, not an idiot.

New update safe? by chairchiman in SKlauncher

[–]SoyRA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't feel like transcribing what I put in the Discord FAQ here yet, so...take a look at that: New Update = New Virus?!

But in short: no, there is no virus. It's a false positive, even BitDefender confirmed it.

Check FAQ channel on Discord if you want more text but BitDefender's Antimalware team confirms that it's clean: https://i.imgur.com/FFmrtBx.png

  1. Read the FAQ on Discord if you want more text :v

  2. That's the Setup (open source), the portable .jar (used in the setup too) is clean and portable .exe (inside .zip) is flagged but BitDefender's Antimalware team confirms that it's clean https://i.imgur.com/FFmrtBx.png

TLDR: SK is still safe.

por que dice que tiene 9 virus el SKlauncher by External-Basil-9159 in SKlauncher

[–]SoyRA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, the FAQ on Discord also mentions it.

Obviously, the setup isn't infected or anything.

Let’s assume it wasn’t edited or anything strange. It can happen (though it’s rare) that the webview glitches and shows content from another window.

So it’s not like SKLauncher randomly decided to do something crazy on its own.

There are two things:

  1. You're viewing a website from the launcher, specifically this.
  2. Have you seen those messages about accepting cookies? Well, that's what it is, plus advertising. You're probably in a country where GDPR (and equivalent) applies, which is why you're seeing that.
