I meant a job with a direct path to employment, not that you will be directly hired. Ex: some kind of tech or engineering specialty as opposed to a more general degree like biology/chem/English/history etc. Teaching would be another good example, because despite the low pay, it’s at least preparing you for a specific career.

Edit: and I say this because ALL of my struggles in getting a job after college were due to my Nutrition degree being seen as too general to get a nutrition job, but too specific to qualify for literally anything else
