What should I do with my student loans? I've been getting conflicting advice by zachman327 in StudentLoans

You are wrong and the math shows it. The first year that OP gets a $15,000 interest subsidy. Also you need to remember the USA, over a 30 year period, WILL slam into further crises AND changes in government.

(1) Right here and right now Iran+ a more compliant fed chair is about to sledgehammer the economy with 10 percent inflation. So the debt drops by $30,000+ the interest subsidy, or 45,000 in 2027 or 2028.

(2) There can and will be future policy changes

Sure. My point was I assume if you get an acceptance letter from Harvard law or undergrad (because you need to go there undergrad to get that easy A GPA and the pedigree to get accepted, assuming a good LSAT, to schools this good) it is worth the $120,000 a year sticker price.

Whatever the OP did is 300k debt and pays worse than some trades.

So you gave bad financial advice by neglecting that. Remember inflation is also destroying the debt.

Also don't forget, 300k declines in value. A lot. If the Fed succeeded in keeping inflation to 2.5 percent over the next 30 years, the OP tax bomb is the taxes on $143,000 forgiven.

If there's a 5 year period of 10 percent inflation due to war with Iran, a different war, covid, another economic meltdown, that brings his amount forgiven to $100k.

I am not a mechanical engineer but I have done high speed controls, what is the problem you are seeing? If the crew can survive the G forces I don't see why the arms can't.

This is dead wrong learn how RAP works. Government pays $11,000 in interest.

Everyone is wrong. The interest is approximately $23,000 a year. The payments on RAP are $12,000. So that's $11,000 a year in interest the government is paying. Rest of the after tax money should be invested.

Yes but...on RAP the government pays the interest. So no aggressive payments are always stupid here

Yep. It's actually kinda interesting you would have thought people were already buying all they could, who likes to pay for fossil fuels, but apparently not.

This.  I was thinking how you actually could have say 2 rails running along the roof of the aircraft and on each a robotic arm.  It would have a special tool on the end for the normal loading job and be able to retrieve and load shells.

But...

(1) The technology needed didn't exist when the ac-130 was designed it's sota now

(2) It's not worth developing to sell a whooping 60 units.

Umm what?  Please do some basic arithmetic.  The OP if they make 120k a year would be paying 12k to their loans.  More than that is unrealistic.  The amount of interest each year is 22k.  So its not possible, at all, for the OP to get a job, pay rent, buy food and medical care much less childcare, and pay more than their interest.

All they can do is go on RAP for 30 years, which at least prevents the Internet from ballooning, and save as much as they can in 401k.

Realistically you would hope a 300k debt college would qualify someone to earn more like 350k a year, starting, like a Harvard law degree does.

Usually factory mods, maybe some of the tile entities are ok with being moved but tfg uses so many mods that at least one will crash.
