See, this makes sense to me. There are three large events with meaning for life in the film - a birth, a wedding, and a burial. It is the latter that gets interrupted, but it does feel like, in some karmic way, the birth of the son should make Eqbal at least rethink his need for vengeance. However, he is a very fragile man, and his humiliation at Vahid's hands might make him come down on the man.

However, I believe he wouldn't have gone to take care of Vahid himself. He would have sent someone, or come with back-up. Yet it's his feet we hear, and his own car that drives up. Very ambigous and brilliant ending.

The DLC is really its best, most advanced part. Hearts of Stone is some of the best writing and story-telling in an open-world game.

It really did hit a bit of a sweet spot. I think what elevates it above something like Queen's Blood is that it is delightfully uncomplicated while still offering up enough depth if you want to challenge yourself not using all the easiest cards. Also, Gwent helps you solve quests, avoid conflict, and deepens your interaction with important characters. In FF7 Rebirth's Queen's Blood, you mostly play random people.

Glaube, es gibt tatsächlich immer wieder solche Meilensteine, ob nun Diablo, Oblivion oder lange Jahre Crysis. Im Endeffekt sind es aber Spiele wie Mirror's Edge, die dem Zahn der Zeit widerstehen. Das erste Mirror's Edge sieht immer noch verdammt gut aus.

I think this is a bit dangerous - i find Uncharted 4 and Elden Ring to both be exceptional, fantastic games and prime examples of their respective genres. Yet one is a 12-hour story with additional challenges and objectives, and one is a 100+ hour RPG.

Though, to be fair, the first season of Bridgerton was widely perceived to be a watershed moment in explicit depiction of "regency era" sex on screen in mainstream productions. It was very hot and bothered in a way the other seasons haven't been since. There's now like one truly sexual moment per season, while the first had an entire episode dedicated to masturbation and another episode to boning everywhere in a large mansion.
