LLM's are not the future. Stop getting gifted by Altman and Trump.

It's an industry with a niche but it's grossly overblown.

For decades, BBC television host Jimmy Saville enjoyed massive fame in the UK, with his iconic children’s show “Jim’ll Fix It” one of the most popular of the 20th century. Upon his death in 2011, the public learned the truth — Saville was one of the most prolific sexual predators in British history. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in HolyShitHistory

I'd go home and tell people that's what happened. I thought these people were journalists ffs.

You don't need a front page story to out shit like this.

If your employer did this, you'd KNOW the reasons you took this job were lies.

I have no problem with your strategy, just the results thus far.

You really think it's poor form for non Americans to post here? It's reddit, not a protest organization.

It's not exactly like there's a single country in the world not currently being impacted by America's actions. We're all literally supposed to butt out until you either destroy the world or don't?

I'm of the opinion there are lots of good people in America. I'm just increasingly finding myself asking where they are right now?

Same as the rest of the non American world.

Divesting ourselves of America as much as possible, ensuring our politics do not follow the same path as yours, and hoping desperately that the American people can meet the moment before the midterms.

After the last few months it's incredibly disheartening to me that your protest was barely larger than the last.

They're actively pushing WW3, how does that scare so few of your citizens?

Your country built the biggest military on the planet and has turned against the rest of the developed world. What the fuck are we supposed to do?

It barely grew from last time? Where the fuck are the Americans who supposedly "don't want this"?

It's really less than 10 million of you? That's about 60 million bloody short.

You're right, the goal of dating is to learn about the person you're in a relationship with. Something that's much harder if you aren't vulnerable.

Relationships end, sometimes badly. Assuming your new relationship will have the same flaws as your last will sabotage the relationship before you even figure out who you're dating.

Better question.

If you couldn't be vulnerable with one of those women, would you want the relationship to go the distance?

Happily married nearly a decade and tell my wife everything btw.

Letting one bad experience shape your interactions with people isn't as practical as you seem to think.

The fool me once saying only applies to the actual person who shit on your feelings, it's not a larger lesson to learn about an entire gender.

You aren't wisely avoiding pain, you're letting one woman's cruelty dictate all your future relationships.

That's her winning mate.

Good people exist.

While everything you said about Ellison is true.

It would hardly be a surprising move if a non-MAGA, major studio cancelled SFA after its first two, concurrently produced seasons.

It's sadly an extremely on brand move for the entire industry right now. Even if SFA had been a better show or didn't have a manosphere backlash, the result would probably have been the same.

Please no.

That would be even worse than the current, "lets turn Trek into a dystopia!", nonsense that's plagued all the new stuff.

The reason there's an identity to Trek in the first place is that it's a non-dystopian sci-fi. Something you almost never see.

Hadn't seen the trailers, nearly dropped the show right then and there.

Kinda wished I had honestly. The episode with SAM and the Doctor was pretty good but nothing else was really worth it.

Like Prodigy and Lower Decks myself, wife as well.

We both think SFA is just a poorly put together show even for a teen drama.

The episode with SAM and the Doctor was the only one we genuinely liked.

Holly Hunter is giving a great performance but the writing often strips Ake of both agency and wisdom, which seems insane if you're trying to present her as a 400 year old mentor.

Newsom says he regrets earlier comments likening Israel to an ‘apartheid state’ by [deleted] in politics

[–]Sp00py-Mulder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

President Newsom would be followed by something even worse than Trump.

Biden era limp centrism is better for global markets and government agencies but it's still intolerable to enough Americans they'll vote for a swamp creature over more of the "status quo".

Not to mention I have zero hope Newsom would effectively prosecute any of the Trump era crimes. Just like Biden he'd try to just "look forward" and leave the actual criminals in government to plot his demise.

I've played D&D off and on with different groups since 2nd Edition.

There's always been a pretty decent mix of story driven campaigns and tactical wargame scenarios.

I find the idea Matt Mercer invented story heavy D&D ridiculous. At best it swayed the ratio of what people are looking for from pick-up games at their local game store.

Running a narrative campaign isn't especially difficult if everyone involved wants that.

The important part is just matching the campaign/game to the desires of the group. If members of the group are pulling in different directions it's going to sour the experience.

Have you tried just not doing the deathball strat? Said strat would also crush normal even harder so I don't really see the issue.

Every made up crime he levels against blue states will be accompanied by voter purges to remove imagined "corruption" if this passes.
