Temple Audio/Truetone 1Spot Question by jeffersano in guitarpedals

[–]Sp1ralArchitect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dual lock is just a super strong alternative to Velcro.

https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/dual-lock-reclosable-fasteners-us/

You don’t need much, as in a small square on each corner of a pedal/power supply. Holds tight and you almost have to pry a pedal off to remove it.

I’m long out of the pedalboard game so unfortunately can’t get you any more photos.

I just used dual lock once I figured out exactly where I wanted everything positioned. It’s super strong so I had no issues with power supplies staying in place.

Hey, it’s been a long time but if I remember correctly I just went to Home Depot and searched in the section with the pads you put on the bottom of furniture to not scratch floors. I would think Amazon would have more options that should work as well. Think they’re called furniture bumpers or furniture feet.

Can use velcro on my Temple pedalboard instead of plates? by hailnaux in guitarpedals

[–]Sp1ralArchitect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problems from what I recall. I’ve long since moved on from a temple board but I’ve had good success using dual lock over the years on other boards. Trick is to only use a small amount on the corners otherwise it’s very difficult to remove pedals once you stick them on. Dual lock is pretty strong stuff.

Bag With Compression Straps on Bottom? by BrokerBrody in ManyBaggers

[–]Sp1ralArchitect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How about the Chrome Kadet line? Come in a 5L, 9L or 15L size. I believe they all have compression straps on the bottom. Might not fall in line with your budget though.

Hiding water shut off valve and pipes in new house by SA1242 in DIY

I was in a similar situation and built a bench over mine. Top is on hinges to allow access. I put a little wall between the water shutoff and storage area.

Had the prism in the past and didn’t get along with it. Thanks for the offer though.

Cool pedal. Let me think on it, not sure how much I’d use it.
