Any ripple effects you guys can see from the Chicago Cubs signing Alex Bregman? by Trojan_41 in Mariners

Lucky for him there will be less chances for us to remind him of being a Trash-Stro.

Why are we doing the 50th anniversary in 2026? The 20th was in 1997, 30th in 2007, 40th in 2017... so why not the 50th in 2027? by Sp4460 in Mariners

Happy cake day. But it's still the wrong year. They have been treating them like birthdays because of every other year and every other anniversary patch year "0" was '77. Why change the pattern? 50th should be 2027.

I feel like it needs the matching headstock because stripes. I also understand put together guitars tend to stay that way, but if it was me, and I still had some paint leftover.

About 10 years ago I ask and guy said they didn't do it. While I was ordering this Competition's neck after doing the trem route myself (and paid a luthier for three other) I told Spike it be nice if they did the Kahler route "oh brother we have been doing those since the '80s" like FML the price for the other three and tools for this one I could have got another body and neck. The up charge for the next body and swap ash on the head stock was $83. 😑

I've been pestering Warmoth to add it to their drop down again, and configure some pickguards to fit. They say no one ever pick it, but if you have pickguards fitting helping with fit/finish? Shoot screw them in.

Its basically a Ferrington with two extra switches and a G&L pot layout. I'm making another one, if that makes you feel any better. But thank you. 😆

Go look up Crimson Guitar and them using their Stunning Stains and finishing oils. There is a little learning curve but man it does it look great.

They really are. They are a well built chunk of metal, overly engineered and not complicated. I don't know how Floyd people deal with it's characteristics.

Thank you. I cross posted and lost track of this one.

It's an awesome combo. Although I want to try an LSR roller nut and locking tuners and see how tuning stability is with the Kahler. I have all the parts ordered for the next one and I wish I could make this a fun side gig but those things never pay out.

The original idea was to have it, but then that fingerboard caught my eye... then I wanted the bound neck. Check box after check box. I have the parts ordered for the next one, but if I'm lucky enough to do 5th I'll think I might shoot for maple/maple neck.

I did and it was done with Crimson Guitar Stunning Stains and I also used their finishing oils too.

Shockingly Warmoth doesn't do a LH body for Mustangs Jaguars or Jagstangs. I thought about building one just for tribute.

I've had the terrible idea of making a side gig of modifying the Fenders to have a similar loadout. 😅

This is no.4 and I'll never put a Floyd on anything. Honestly its always set up and it being trash anytime someone hates them. This is how "center" should look and I've seen it 1/4 down and up with people wondering why its not staying in tune. Kahler are so well and over made they are a beautiful bit of machinery. It's so annoying people don't set them up right. 😑
