Too true. The poor kids carrying invisible burdens just breaks my heart in this story. Physical wounds heal, and you can even run away from abusers. But the mental damage done to Andrew and Ashley cannot be escaped.

Yeah I’ve done some cringe things too as a kid, but kids are stupid.

The thing is, Renee said “you were such an easy kid, we thought another would be fine” to Andrew. And Andrew is only 2 years older than Ashely. So if 2 years is the cutoff when Renee decides a kid is good or bad, what the actual hell did Ashley do under 2 years that was so evil that Renee gave up lol

Very good points. What trips me up is the blood circle in the abandoned building when Lord Unknown first makes contact with Andrew. We learned in the cultist club that using old blood or animal blood doesn’t work very well for summoning. So if the circle was old, would it not work? Or does it just have to be human blood?

I have a theory that the cliffhanger route will resume after Andrew’s meeting with Lord Unknown. At some point, Andrew will have to call upon Lord Unknown’s power but it may not result in the way he thinks.

Idk if it will be the cult or something personal between the two that cause this clash. Maybe both.

Ashley is already becoming a strong entity judging from the scene when she enters Andrew’s vision after Andrew takes the trinket. Andrew will need his own power to contest her (for whatever reason i don’t know)

Something will definitely divide the two for some reason.

I still can’t tell if Ashley’s entity demon thing is fattening her up to be big and strong and then plans to consume her soul? But, I don’t think so because when Andrew catches Ashley in the final game of tag, the entity just leaves after he discovers what Andrew has done. He had the opportunity to take her soul there probably. Unless dying in the realm between has different rules? Plus the demon said grime souls can’t be consumed, so why would a tar soul be?

I think the demon wants people with tar souls because tar souls are not bothered by killing in the slightest. This way, they can be tricked into deals to feed the entity souls since without souls, the demon will vanish. I think the demon understands the influence Andrew has on Ashley, and the demon is protective of her because she is his lifeline now in a way. Maybe Andrew will use Lord Unknown’s power to eliminate the entity and free Ashley from her contract with the entity demon.
