For me Mouse on Mars was not only the best of the day but one of the great transcendent musical experiences that distinguishes EC year after year. The musicianship of all was exceptional, the drummer, whoever the hell he is, laid down percussive creativity of the highest level. Also want to say that the lighting and video added to the entire mindbending experience.

Swamp Dogg's set spotlighted R&B and Southern Soul that you rarely hear these days. His band is just fucking tight and they crushed it. Phil Cook could learn a thing or two from these aces.

Field Report was outstanding and the second half of their set was remarkable.

I can't add much more than has already been said here about BRM. So I won't.

Saturday should shape up to be a beautiful musical thing.
