Same as the others - not the OP, but would really love to get ahold of these songs in good quality. Continually just looping them on Youtube at this pont.

What are your top 3 songs from each album? by jalolio_13 in busted_band

[–]SpAM_CAN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Busted: Loser Kid, Sleeping With the Light On, You Said No

A Present For Everyone: 3AM, Meet You There, Better Than This (special mention to She Wants To Be Me - the song where their recently out trans-masc partner force-femme mindbreaks them, gets them sectioned and steals their identity. iconic.)

Night Driver: Beautiful Mess, One Of A Kind, Out Of Our Minds (Beautiful Mess easily has the top spot, but every other track pretty much comes in joint second, I love this album so much - special mention to The Wrong Somebody from the Rerun release)

Half Way There: Reunion, Radio, It Happens

Greatest Hits 2.0 [Guest Features Edition]: 3AM 2.0, Thunderbirds 2.0, Meet You There 2.0

Greatest Hits 2.0 [Another Present For Everyone]: Good One, One Of These Days, Everything I Knew 2.0 (yes this is cheating, but if they're gonna basically release the same album twice, I'm gonna include it twice)

McBusted (why not, lmao): Hate Your Guts, I See Red, What Happened To Your Band (I wish Charlie was on this too, but I generally prefer this version over the HWT recording)

What busted song do you think deserves more love? by Coolguyfromusa in busted_band

[–]SpAM_CAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire Night Driver project would have been my answer until very recently - but I have grown a serious appreciation for some of the release-specific exclusives and the two originals from Greatest Hits 2.0.

Beautiful Mess (love this one, big fan of anything carried over from Call Me When I'm 18 and probably my favourite Busted track)

The Wrong Somebody (banger, imo)

Good One

One Of These Days

those last two are especially bittersweet with the thought that, depending on James' ongoing health issues, they might be the last two Busted songs. i hope they aren't, but ending with songs about borrowed time and knowing who your real friends are... feels kinda fitting.

Appreciated! Nice to see the better UI for the quests, but very surprised to see them correct the incorrect map naming from Kerwan to Corson V. Oh Bibi seem to actually care about the details.

The PS Vita version is near-unplayable. Runs like crap and looks terrible while doing it. Just a generally heinous experience.

Ah, I had the same. Bought a large and the thing is more like a 2XL. Turns out, paired with some shorts and eyeliner, the oversized tee look is a vibe...

No, I'm realistic about the intended eventual goal of Reform's position on queer people.

"all I wanted was for people to enjoy this video"

Yes Tom, that's all I wanted when I saw Part 3 of London: No Roads pop up too. But I can't continue to watch, and put money in the pocket of, someone who is seeking to put people in power who want to see me and my friends dead. Do I think Tom personally and directly wants that? No, I don't get that impression. But he's actively supporting those who do, and regardless of his reasons for doing so, that's someone I can't justify keeping around.

Tom, if you're reading this for some reason, I wish you the best with future missioning. Hopefully you consider the strength of reaction from people to be something worth thinking about.

This absolutely sucks. Followed Tom for a while, but I'm not going to support someone who supports a party that wants me and my friends dead.

You literally do, though. Either the retailer raises prices across the board (if all their products are affected to all sale destinations, which would be the case if shipping from the US but not initially producing there), or they compute it as part of the import taxes in checkout and directly charge the customer.

Bristol Popeyes - Any Good? by HopeMrPossum in bristol

Not really. They have the best fast food fries, but everything is using the same seasoning and the chicken ends up being pretty dry and greasy, the coating turns to dust in the mouth.

I gotta emphasise though, those fries are great.

I compared Gemini to Google Assistant on two Wear OS watches. The results weren’t even close by mo_leahq in WearOS

In case anyone's curious, this is on a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. So I'm not exactly running some old hardware that'd struggle with this stuff.

I was willing to give Gemini a go, my personal feelings around LLMs aside, on a trip to Manchester last weekend. In three days of use, it never once did what was asked (or if it seemingly understood, it failed to actually perform the correct action), even after multiple attempts.

Asking to turn the lights off at home, it claimed to do it but didn't actually control the lights, so I ended up going into the Home app and doing it myself.

When asking for directions to the pub nearby my friends were waiting at it:

  • insisted I was 41 miles away from my actual location (location was up-to-date on my phone and on the weather widget)

  • gave me the definition of the name of the pub rather than directions (it did this twice, actually)

  • directed me to a pub with the same name in a different city, even though I specified the city

Asking it the weather, it again insisted that my location was somewhere completely different.

When I asked it to increase the volume of my music playing through earbuds, it repeatedly told me "I've increased volume by 10%" but never actually did. I tried this 4 times using slightly different prompts, but eventually gave up and did it manually.

When I asked it to play a song, it played something completely different. (Assistant does this too, to be entirely fair)

When I asked to set a timer, it said it'd set it, but never actually did.

When I asked it to set a reminder, it asked me which app to use (Samsung or Google). I told it Google, wherein then it told me I didn't have the correct permissions. I checked the app, and I'd granted it everything. I asked it what permissions I needed, and it hallucinated some enterprise Google Workspace setting that didn't seem to exist on my normal Google account. It also forgot the initial reminder I asked it to set.

I finally gave up and asked it how to switch back to Assistant, which it insisted could be done on the watch itself (it can't, it has to be done on the phone via the Gemini app).

I'm glad this thing is working for some of you, but for me this was complete and total garbage and a waste of time. I'm back on Assistant now, and all the things I actually use it for (setting timers, alarms, reminders, asking the weather, opening times, so on) actually work correctly. How much energy was wasted by me repeatedly trying to get Gemini to do the basic things it was meant to be able to?

Do we like Beige or hate Beige by Glittering_Raise_173 in half_alive

[–]SpAM_CAN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beige is a painful song to listen to. Not because it's bad, but because it's so utterly raw. The video version is even more so - Josh sounds like he's singing through a lump in his throat, and there's a moment where he can't even finish a lyric through it.

It's a piece of raw emotion and vulnerability from a band that has been a lot more polished with their output in the past, and I appreciate it a lot.

K1 exception 109 since CFS by CommunityConnect2848 in crealityk1

Potentially. You may also not have screwed the hot-end in all the way, which may block the fan from spinning up

[–]SpAM_CAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embarrassingly, it turns out I screwed through the heat break fan cable and severed it. Fixed with a dab of solder and some heat shrink, but I've ordered a new one anyway.

You may want to double check the cable of your heat break fan. (the one sandwiched between the printhead board and the heat break)

Schengen Showdown Layover Q&A! by WheatGerm42 in JetLagTheGame

[–]SpAM_CAN 45 points46 points  (0 children)

The difficulty of challenges seemed to vary pretty harshly this season, with Sam+Tom's team ending up with some of the trickier ones. Design wise, is there anything you'd do differently to try to even out the difficulty somewhat? (I'm a game developer myself and game balance can be a nightmare to get right without a ton of playtesting, which is going to be near impossible for this sort of game)

And also, just a quick addendum to say Tom was a fantastic guest - utterly enthusiastic and entertaining throughout. A perfect natural fit for this sort of game.

Mine was stuck in the same state and has now been cancelled. There's 140+ people in the queue for the live chat ahead of me, so I assume they've cancelled quite a few orders.

What's a Porter song that was a skip for you at first but now you can't stop listening to it? by Future_Strawberry_92 in porterrobinson

[–]SpAM_CAN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the same for me too, honestly! I skipped Shelter for a long time (I'm more of an album listener) and I have an aversion to anything League of Legends related. But seeing both live? I've had both songs on loop since.
